The manager allowed me to check out at 12.30 rather than 11am, which was great. Good breakfast and coffee and ok wifi. Great location and price BUT NOTE: communal bathrooms! Very clean a d at least a couple on each floor, so waiting, but still COMMUNAL.

So glad you enjoyed your visit. Thank you for pointing out that some of our rooms do share bathrooms (single occupant, located across the hall). Most of our rooms do have a private bath but please do read the details when making a reservation. We have many room types to fit all guests needs and budgets, make sure you do your research!

I love the friendless and comfort of this beautiful and convenience little hotel…. To speak nothing of their breakfasts in which there is something for everyone.

Glad we seemed to have done most things right!

Excellent location for an event at Sanders Theatre. Room was very small but okay for one person, one night. The only concern was arriving to a room needing heat. I requested this at the front desk. When I returned from the event, the front desk person had turned up the central heat "for new arrivals" and he gave me a small space heater also, in case I needed it. I was happy to have a comfortable place very near the Harvard event. Thank you.

This property is old, not very clean, poorly maintained and it was very warm. The shared bathroom was a mess, and the parking in back is brutal.

We are sorry you did not find us to your liking. Most guests (Please see other reviews, all unsolicited.) find our property well maintained and clean. Our shared baths are cleaned several times daily, and a guest in a room with shared bath can use any of the baths. Sometimes a bath can be left by another guest in a state of disarray before our cleaning staff can get to it. The parking lot is small; we are in a dense urban area, which is why people want to stay with us: the house is located close to many Cambridge attractions. Yes, parking is tight; welcome to urban living. We hope you otherwise enjoyed your stay in Our Fair City.
