The place to be in Calgary

Pros: everything
Cons: a bar
Location: the only draw back is the location. it out past the airport with little to see or for that matter eat. i had to order in
I was completely blown away at this hotel. great service, very clean, nice amenities, pool, weight room, spa, they have bright clean rooms with huge LCD Big Screens and HD reception a separate coach to relax in and have your evening dinner while watching that super nice TV. The hotel has a small snack store with even ice cream. the bed even comes with six pillow three are extra soft for those who like soft pillows and 3 firm pillow for people who need the neck support. the free breakfast was great. Scrambled Eggs, breakfast sausage, waffle station , along with rolls, bagels, bread for toast fresh fruit, 4 kinds of juice, two kinds of coffee and its all you can eat. best economy hotel i have ever stayed in , even better than some 4 star hotels i have staying at in the past

Location: Familymonly went to,Deerfoot hospital for,the day and returned to BC the next day.

Great hotel

Hotel was beautiful, but it was far from restaurants. It's very new in developing area so we assume more will be coming.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review. My apologies for the inconvenience you encountered during your stay. due to our distance to the downtown centre our shuttle does not operate that far. We are more than happy to shuttle our guests to the airport or nearby restaurants. We have a list of restaurants in the area that our shuttle goes to. We hope to see you again in the future!

Overpriced, overrated

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Pretty much everything including the non proffessional appearance of the manager. I just don't think managers should dress in blue jeans.
Location: The location is very convenient to the airport. Not much to do nearby.
We paid way too much by booking with Travelocity for two nights. When we arrived the clerk even advised us to cancel the second night and she discounted the rate for the second night considerably. Everything about this hotel was mediocre. The bathroom had hair on the floor, the sink stopper wasn't connected to the bottom of sink and had to call maintenance, the maid left two mostly used up rolls of TP in bathroom and I had to ask for a whole roll to last us. There was one towel rack about 12 inches long in the BR but they requested that you hang your towels on the rack to save laundry when there wasn't even a place to hang them. Got stuck in the hotel for most of two days with nothing to do because of heavy rain. The swimming pool was too cold to swim in. The work out room was a joke. One treadmill was broken and the other was covered with water with a puddle underneath due to a large leak in the ceiling above it. When I asked the manager to have someone clean it up the woman mopped up the puddle and I took a towel and cleaned all the water off the machine cup holders and other indentations. The breakfast buffet had no decaf coffee but when I asked, the manager offered a jar of instant. The bedroom had one small window wth sheers and side curtains. No way to block out all the lights from buildings across the street. This is in a new industrial park and it is hard to find. It is like a maze in this area. Had to stop at the Best Western to ask where it was.

Freezing cold room...cold air blew in all night...

Pros: Clean, new, light, fresh
Cons: The heat element in the room
Cold air blew in from heater/air conditioner..could not get thermostat to go warmer nor were we able to shut the fan off to stop the cold air from blowing in....froze with layers of clothes and covers...got in close to midnight and had an early departure so no point trying to change rooms.

Superb hotel near airport

Comfort Inn in Calgary was truly excellent in all Areas. When the clerk checking us in learned it was our 20th anniversary, she upgraded us to a king room with a fireplace! The bed was very comfortable, the room was very clean, breakfast area was clean an filled with a nice variety. We would definitly stay again.

Nice hotel, but bath too small.

Pros: Clean
Cons: Needs LARGER bathroom.
Location: Location, while near airport, was VERY HARD to find. The directions that the hotel provides on-line only caused confusion.
I had requested a handicapped room, but I needed TWO beds and for some unknown reason, handicapped rooms at most hotels (to include this one), only have a king size bed. NEEDS TO BE RE-THOUGHT BY HOTEL CHAINS! Room was clean and beds fairly comfortable, but the bathroom is way too SMALL. I could barely get the desk chair in the bathroom to sit on while I did makeup and hair at vanity. A mirror and space outside the bath would have been nice so that I did not have to "get ready" in the bathroom.
