Historic hotel at a fantastic location. Dining and valet service was excellent. Point Lobos Suite was a disappointment due to odd layout but overall experience was very good. Be aware that there's a pitch to join their 'Hyatt Club' as the hotel seems to be switching to a time-share-like shared ownership model. Carmel Highlands is a beautiful and unique setting, nothing beats the sunset view overlooking the rugged coast.

The property was well maintained. The view from our room was amazing. We really enjoyed our two-day stay. The only downside was parking. The nearest parking lot to our room was a decent walk up a steep hill. If you have mobility issues, please check on the parking arrangements for your specific room you book.
