The hotel is old, curtains would not close properly, rug to rooms in poor condition. Bathroom was ok, had to get it fixed half way into our stay as handle on valve came loose. Showerhead was plastic. Very outdated. Price was very good, but would not stay here again. Staff, specially the restaurant and housekeeping were extremely nice. Gym very poor, hardly anything for a decent workout. Pool smelled of chlorine badly. Not inviting to go for a swim. Very nice pond outside hotel.

The property is very old fashioned , inside the hallways smells like old carpet. Cleaning staff entered my room while I had a DND sign on the door. Cleaning staff also went through my personal belongings.

The noise was terrible. It went on until 130, despite calling the hotel about it. Then started back up at 8am. This was meant to be a quick get away for an anniversary celebration. Turned out to be an exausting one. The a/c in the room wasn’t working well. Terrible ! Just awful. We will not be coming back here.

My husband and I stayed 1 night and the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tube as well. Only two things that i wish i would have looked more into was the breakfast (continental) and the use of wifi. Breakfast and wifi were not included so that was a bummer. Also if you stay here check your room for the black door sign to not be distributed (or w/e) it says or you will have house keeping knocking on the door at 8 a.m. on the weekends. We were woken up and scared as they tried to enter. When i spoke to the front desk about it he briefly apologized (but it felt more like being brushed off) and said they had a full house and were trying to clean and prep rooms. I told him our check out wasnt till 12.....so there was that.

We arrived at 3pm for checkin, room wasn't ready till almost 4pm. Was told it was 2 queen sized beds, but it was actually 2 full sized beds. They told us there were no rooms available, then changed us to a single bed with a pull out couch and a roll away bed. 2nd room had no refrigerator and the toilet was clogged when we got there. The older gentleman that was at the front desk in the morning was very rude.

Not the doubletree i am use to. The Staff was accommodating. Bur the rooms were outdated, even the upgraded room. They lack the necessary amenities. No fridge, no microwave, had to ask for coffee it was not restocked. There were a couple of other issues but im hoping they were a one time oversight. I would only choose this hotel as a last resort if the other hotels in the area are full.
