We ended up at the Hyatt Place on a Friday night after having to leave our original hotel because of mold. I explained our situation to Ela at the front desk and asked about a "mold safe" room. She offered to let me look at rooms before finalizong the booking. The manager showed me a few rooms she thought would be best and let me choose. She even went amd re-scrubbed the bathroom while we checked in! They went above and beyond to make sure I had a safe, healthy night. The room was comfortable, clean, bright, the air smelled clean, and staff was amazing!

The bed was uncomfortable and had to switch rooms due to the smell of chlorine from the pool and was in the 5th floor. Also bathroom was so incredibly small.

This was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had, and I would never recommend it. The only staff who treated us with any respect were the cleaning crew — they were kind and professional. The front desk, on the other hand, was rude, argumentative, and made us feel unwelcome from the moment we arrived. As people of color, it was very clear that we were being treated differently than other guests. The tone, the lack of basic courtesy, and the overall attitude from the staff made it obvious. On top of that, the location itself felt uncomfortable and gave us the sense that we didn’t belong there. For the price, the experience was completely unacceptable. No one should have to spend their money to be treated this way.

IT WAS NOISY, WE HEARD THE VEHICLES RACING ON THE INTERSTATE ALL NIGHT, THE AIR IN THE ROOM WAS VERY DRY & THE AIR CONDITIONER NOISY. WE ONLY SAW A WORKER WHEN WE CHECKED IN. WE WILL NOT STAY THERE AGAIN.
