"The hotel location is key to this hotel. Also, it is newly renovated and the decor is subdued but functional. We had a rather small room but with a balcony that overlooks the plaza and if you look sideways towards the right, you will see the ocean. The breakfast in this hotel was the best we had in our trip. It was well curated and was very tasty and delicious, specially the bacon which I believe was the highlight. The server was dedicated and took pride in the presentation. She did not speak English but we can hear and understand her very well by just her passionate expression. Highly recommend this place. It's near Las Ramblas and the Gothic Quarters. It's the place to be when in Barcelona."

"Perfect location! Walking distance to a lot of restaurants, shops & museums. The staff is what really made me fall in love with this hotel. "Well, let’s just start with o real rating - they advertise themselves as 5 star hotel but by average American standards it’s between 2-3 There no traditional hospitality standards we are all used to ( Vegas , NYC , Miami , Boston ) equivalent to 5 stars Rooms are very small and odd shaped , bedding is Ramada Inn quality , no tubs. Heating or TV were not working in our room and staff did not care to come and fix it Pricing of more than 400$ per night is ridiculous and frankly insulting Anyhow - don’t get lured in by the location , no direct access by uber or taxi , and so called roof top is just a tourist trap They let anyone from the street come and use it so you don’t have any privileges as a hotel guest Expedia should be checking more careful properties before advertising them to its patrons "
