Lake Superior Lakehome With Stunning Views

This newly renovated Lakehome on Superior Shores has stunning shoreline views, a large kitchen with updated appliances, 2 cozy wood burning fireplaces and comfortably sleeps 9.
The main floor offers 1 bedroom with a king bed and a bathroom with a shower and a large Jacuzzi tub. The kitchen has a large island with ample seating, a living area with a fireplace and an outside deck with a large gas grill.
The upper level offers 1 bedroom with a queen and twin bed, a full bathroom with a shower, and an open loft area with king bed and a view of the lake.
The lower level offers a master suite with a king bed, a large living area with a sofa, high top tables, a fireplace and an outside deck. The large bathroom area offers an over-sized shower and a Finnish sauna.
The outdoor community pool/hot tub is open May-early October weather permitting. The town of Two Harbors is a short 2 miles away and offers many shops, eating options and its very own Castle Danger Brewery.

This was an amazing property! It had so many amenities and a wonderfully stocked kitchen. The views of Lake Superior were so beautiful! We loved the chickadees that came to eat from the feeders on the deck. They were adorable! Wayne and Pat were very welcoming and responded immediately to questions we had.

This was our 5th trip here. We look forward to this trip every year. The place is warm, welcoming, and has everything you need. The fireplaces are awesome on a wintry day. The view is fantastic. We came up the day after a winter storm went through and the winds were blowing. Lake Superior is a beautiful lake to watch on both calm days and when the winds are howling, especially by a warm fire. We love winter on the Northshore. We will be back again.

This place was amazingly beautiful. The views are breath taking. The fireplace and brids were our TV for the weekend. We played cribbage, and other board games. Enjoyed the sauna and the trails down to the water. The kitchen had everything we needed and was very clean and organized! We enjoyed our peaceful retreat. Ours hosts let us know that we could get in a bit early. It was a home away from home. Lots of cozy chairs, couches and blankets to lounge around in. Beds we super comfy with plenty of pillows! The guest journals we fun to read and everyone had beautiful things to say about their stay. We will definitely come back.

Hi! Sorry for the late response. When I got back, I had to hit the floor running for many reasons
You had a lovely home and we all had a wonderful time there. We loved how well stocked the kitchen was. It would be helpful if you had a sign near the garbage disposal on how to operate it. Google taught us. Later we found the directions in the binder.The main floor bathroom sink is clogged and the water would not drain down. The fireplace should be clean upon arrival. We wanted to use it, but didn’t feel up to removing all the ash and going out to buy wood. It would be nice if we could purchase it there, or at least enough wood for a couple fires was provided with the cost of the rental.We enjoyed the big kitchen island. We are big game players and played group games every day we were there. It would have been helpful if there were high bar chairs for all 9 of us. Some had to look up to participate!Once again, everything looked beautiful.Six of us did take advantage of the sauna. Two were at the end of being sick with upper respiratory infections when we were there and appreciated the sauna, and another had lymes disease and was very achy. He also appreciated the sauna.We were able to view the lighthouse from the overlook, and got some great photos. We spent Sunday on the lighthouse grounds to avoid the crowds on Monday.Thanks again. It was a beautiful home. The location was perfect for what we had planned this trip. We enjoyed the space.Hope this helps!

This home on Lake Superior was a great fit for our grown family - 8 of us, including 3 little grandkids. The 4 bedrooms were all spacious and cozy. Property was clean and communication with owner was excellent, both before and during our stay. Many nice small touches - like having a few spices, tea selection, children's games, books & dinnerware - that really made it convenient and comfortable. Well equiped for cooking for a big group - we ate every meal there. A couple of us used the sauna and it works well. Views from the house are stunning and it is very convenient for visiting the north shore parks. A beautiful fire in the fireplace each night was a great place to gather and relax. Highly recommend - just don't pick the week I want to return!!

My wife and two other couples stayed in this spectacular home for three nights. A minor glitch with a hvac sensor was the only problem we encountered, and Wayne corrected the issue immediately. The home itself was spacious, clean and well stocked. The location was great because it was close to shopping, dining and biking. The view from the multiple decks was as stunning as advertised. Bedrooms, bathrooms and living areas all given high praise by all.

My high school friends and I have been traveling for 19yrs all over the U.S. This year we chose to visit the north shore. The weather didn’t fully cooperate but we made the best of it. The home was cozy and spacious for 5 ladies. The beds were comfy. The views were incredible! It was a perfect spot to go between Duluth and further up the north shore toGooseberry falls and other hiking trails. Owners were super nice and accommodating! We would definitely come back!

We absolutely loved our time at this property! Pat and Wayne were great to work with, super responsive, and extremely helpful. The kids had a blast playing on the rocks on the shoreline and swimming in the lake. The house accommodated our two families with younger kids really well- the kids had fun playing games and reading books. The only snag was a later check-in because housekeeping was still working on getting the house squared away when we arrived. We would highly recommend this property and wonderful hosts.

This property is very nicely furnished with a fully loaded kitchen. Many appliances, cook ware, dishes and much silverware. The property worked well for our 6 adults and 3 children under age 5. Room for a pack and play for the littlest. Close to the attractions we wanted to visit. Outdoor pool which was loved by our group. Loft can be a little warm but box fans which are included helped to keep the room temperature under control.

Fantastic place to stay in Two Harbors! Wonderful location, right on the water, gorgeous views. 2 decks, the bottom one is covered so you can enjoy the outside even if it is raining. The home was clean and well supplied. I hope to come back again!

Perfect lakehome to stay at for 4 girlfriends celebrating a birthday milestone! Great location to go to Duluth or up the north shore. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was fully stocked for cooking. Would definitely rent again!

Great place when weather is not great

We planned a family vacation with our adult children and first grandchild hoping to be outside hiking. The weather didn't cooperate with our plans; but fortunately we had a great place to hang out together. The beautiful view was overcast but still absolutely stunning! We hope to return next year!

Home away from home

Another year spent at this beautiful house! This was our 4th year staying at the house and the first year that it was raining the majority of our stay. We used the nearby hotel’s pool which was great. There was plenty to do inside with games and movies and we found agates down at the lake during the breaks between the rain breaks. Thank you again for being wonderful hosts and providing a wonderful vacation spot!
