We had a lovely stay in Edinburgh! The apartment was close by to the castle and the Royal Mile. We also really enjoyed the sushi place next door and had a great stay! Thank you and highly recommend

Liked: Check-in, location
Disliked: Listing accuracy
On arrival we turned on the heating. 1 radiator in the hall was working all the other radiators in the bedrooms, sitting room and bathroom were lukewarm. The listing said that the heating was powerful and would heat up in 30 minutes this is absolutelty not the case - it is a blatant lie!. After a very cold Thursday night I phoned Houst, the managing agents, at 9.00am on Friday who said they would arrange for an Engineer to call. The Engineer finally arrived at 3.30 pm on Sunday and without looking at the boiler he knew exactly what the problem was. He had installed a new boiler in August and told the owner that the radiators and pipework were full of sludge and the system would not work properly unless the system was flushed through. Despite his advice he was not instructed to flush the system but leave it full of sludge. When he looked at the boiler he said there was little he could do now, but he did increase the boiler temperature and pressure but the heating was still inadequate. He told me to run the heating 24 hours a day and leave open the doors to the bedrooms and sitting room. By this time I had spent a day and a half in a very cold flat waiting for an Engineer to turn up and two very cold nights because of a problem that people were well aware of since August. Its an absolute disgrace that the issue had not been resolved when pointed out bly the Engineer. The stay in the flat was awful and half my weekend break in Edinburgh was spent waiting for an Engineer.
