Tout Ă©tait parfait! Un appartement qui correspondait Ă  nos attentes et bien plus! TrĂšs propre et bien amĂ©nagĂ©, avec de belles prestations. Avec des petites attentions ( eau plate ou pĂ©tillante Ă  disposition, cafĂ© et thĂ© et gourmandises, savon et shampooing de qualitĂ©...ainsi que la collection complĂšte des livres d’harry potter!) Appartement trĂšs moderne et comme neuf! TrĂšs bien placĂ© dans Edimbourg, pour les fan d’Harry Potter ,excellent emplacement : juste au dessus du the Elephant house, et vue sur le cimetiĂšre oĂč l’on peut y trouver les noms de potter, mc gonagall ect...et trĂšs proche de Victoria Street! A 5min du Royal Mile ! Coup de cƓur pour cette ville et pour cette appartement oĂč nous retournerons avec grand plaisir !

A gem of a property in a great location, right by Greyfriars Bobby and with perfect views of the castle. Really beautifully decorated, superbly clean and well equipped. Great communication from property managers too on arrival. Highly recommend and we will be back

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would encourage others to book here. Very clean and big ups to the housekeeper. They were around daily even though the guidelines for the room indicated an every other day trash removal at most. Cons - Pre-arrival communication. Did not receive responses to my questions sent via the hotel.com app and eventually via email due to lack of response - I did not receive the email with my apartment number and door code till 1000 on the day of arrival. The team had mentioned messaging within the 72 hours prior. It was even more odd because I got tons of communication regarding WiFi access, food, check in security information needed- passport and CC information but not the anxiety inducing stuff given we were coming from out of the country. I ended up calling from the airport on arrival at 0800, got a code, then around 1400, the manager texted me and gave me a different code. Finally at night around 2130 I finally see the email with the code which was sent that day at 1000. Given limited access to emails when traveling that was silly waiting till 5 hours before check in - “Gift basket” is a misnomer - teas/instant coffee plus biscuit samples - beautiful but narrow bedroom- minimal floor space for luggage - need better instructions for washer -no parking -loud late Pros - very clean, open floor plan - responsive manager - good housekeeping -full kitchen with freezer and ice packs - good WiFi - good TVs - proximity to everything is gold

Our family's stay at No. 1 Apts in the heart of Edinburgh was outstanding!! Our rooms were immaculate and equipped with everything that we needed... from comfy beds to a fully stocked kitchen, to a washer/dryer. Did I mention a gorgeous view of Edinburgh directly outside our sitting room window?! As wonderful as our stay turned out, the most amazing part came after we checked out. We had attempted to ship a backpack with items of sentimental value back to the U.S., but experienced significant/extended shipping issues with the carrier. We contacted hotel staff to ask for their help... Megan was our savior!! For the past 2 weeks since our check-out, Megan has gone out of her way to help us in every situation with info, ideas, and coordination. Can't say enough about her and the hotel she represents! Thank you, No. 1 Apts, for a fantastic stay! Thank you, thank you, thank you, Megan, for your outstanding service and care! đŸ‘â€ïž

The apartment was clean and in a great location that was easily accessible by tube, train and bus to downtown London! Emma's communications were fantastic and she also provided some spot-on pub and restaurant recommendations. There were a few lighting/switch issues that Emma responded to in a prompt manner. Loved how easy the check-in was. The apartment was clean, comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed staying there. The location was perfect within walking distance to every thing we wanted to see

Wonderful EXCEPT

Wonderful apartment blocks from the Royal Mile. Well equipped and comfortable EXCEPT noise at night from street traffic and from pub below can go quite late at night. We did have window open for cross ventilation so some of that it is on us. Very easy to communicate.

Spent 8 nights here and was very happy with the apartment.mYou can walk almost anywhere or public transit is available right outside the front door. We had one minor mechanical problem in the apartment during our stay which was rectified very quickly. Would stay here again.

Great apartment with an awesome view of the castle. It was beneficial being able to catch up on some washing. The apartment was spacious and easy to find. Note there isn’t parking nearby so allow for this. It was an easy walk to the recommended car park.

This is the only place to stay in Edinburgh! We stayed in Apt 8 on the top floor and there was an amazing view of the castle and city from our room. The apartment was in a perfect walkable location in the heart of the city. The style of the apartment was clean and modern. We really loved staying there. It was nice to have a washer/dryer in our kitchen since we were half way through a 10 day trip. The 2 bedrooms were really nice and had skylights that we opened which made it really comfortable to sleep. The stairs leading up to the apartment were a lot (3 large spiral staircases), but well worth it.

The property does a very poor job of communicating with guests. I encountered a couple of issues during my stay, and there was zero customer support to help me to resolve these issues. The washer/dryer combo was not working correctly. Additionally, my partner complained that the bed was very uncomfortable- I found it to be average. The location is good, but that's probably the only positive from this stay.

We loved the location! Walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Amazing locations, you will definitely get a work out with the stairs!
