It was near Carlton Hill and very quiet on the Eastern part of Edinburgh. Wonderful and accommodating staff. Unfortunately, we came during the heat wave and the room was a little warm, but other than that, it was a nice stay.

Perfect Location!!

Pros: the location and it was very clean.
Cons: Mattress in my room could have been better.
Location: Perfect location between old town and new town!
Parliament House Hotel is a 10 minute walk from Waverly Station which means easy access to local sites in the city as well as trains and buses for other site seeing opportunities. Hotel is very clean, located in a quiet area just off Waterloo and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Great little hotel! Friendly and available staff, clean rooms and efficient service. Location was perfect for walking to all parts of old and new town. I am a female and was traveling alone for 8 days - felt safe the entire time there! Would recommend to everyone.
