The room was fairly clean but the towel bar was almost ripped off the wall in the bathroom. Black out shade was inadequate. Most places have curtains. After returning to the room after our first day out we found that someone had been in our room even though we put out the do not disturb sign. That's bad enough but whoever it was defecated in the toilet and didn't flush. They were courteous enough to put the light and fan on which I knew I had turned off when we left. Husband went to the desk and the guy that was there was in disbelief. That night I was awake at 2 in the morning because of a cold and went to the lobby with my knitting so I wouldn't wake my husband. The same guy was there who had checked us in and informed me the lobby was closed and I couldn't be there. I said I'm just going to stay a little bit longer. In about 20 minutes he came back out wanting me to leave and verified that I was a guest there. I felt something was going on there or going to happen they didn't want anyone to see. A few minutes later he came back out again telling me management said I had to leave. Next day after being out someone had been in our room again. We had left the TV on and now it was off, remote was moved and telephone cord was on top of it. We never used the phone. There was never any breakfast as advertised. Hard to believe Red Lion associates their name with this place. They refunded one night but I'd like a full refund!!
