Pet friendly - my cat and I enjoyed our time here. While a tiny bit shabby, being in the pet friendly area was nice. Room was clean, beds were comfortable, and I loved the huge bathroom. Breakfast was fresh, and there were plenty of tables. I would definitely stay again.

I have stayed at several La Quinta hotels around the US and this was by far the worst possible experience. The hotel is dated and showing its age. The room was acceptable and clean. The hotel is pet friendly and there was fairly constant dog barking and early in the evening one particularly loud dog barked incessantly for about an hour. There was also a lot of activity and noise at night in the hall and on the floor above. I was tempted to leave when it finally quieted down at around 1 in the morning. Avoid this hotel!

Dear Guest, Thank you for telling us about your experience at our hotel. It is true what you say, we are a hotel that is 20 years old that has clean acceptable rooms. It is our cleanliness that we are most proud of. The La Quinta brand is a pet friendly brand and we cannot directly impact the noise level of these pets. We do have every guest sign a pet policy, so we have a number to call in case of excessive noise. however, many times guests are simply not picking up their phone to deal with these issues. The actions of these non-responsive guests and their pets are impossible to impact. I am sorry you were affected by the pets in our hotel.

adequate room, bathroom had a moldy odor

Pros: It was located in a nice area and was just adequate
Arrived at 5:45 and expected room to be ready as I was notified that check in is at 3:00. I was informed that the room would not be ready for fifteen minutes, that would be 3 hours later than the check in time. i find that to be unacceptable. We wanted to wash up and change our clothes for a party we were attending and was already late due to traffic. They did offer us a place to do that but we declined and went on to our party without changing. I paid over $200 for the one night stay and I feel that the hotel owes me a partial refund for my inconvenience.

Nice location

The hotel is convent to local shops and transportation to NYC. The staff is very helpful and pleasant. the rooms are clean and well maintained and the breakfast buffet is well stocked with a good selection.

small get away

Pros: it was located where i wanted to be
Cons: the customer service.
Location: the mall, long island. lots to see and do.
went to stay for 3 night & needed a refrigerator. called travelocity because the request was not able to be found online when booking. the travelocity service rep was very helpful and noted the reservation reassuring us that the refrigerator would be in the room. when i checked in after a 10 hour flight at 11pm, the clerk was very unhelpful, insisted she could do nothing about the frige not in the room, and our perishable items were not kept. would not recommend this place to anyone after her lack of help and concern

Typical La Quinta high quality

While our stay was very brief and we had no opportunity to use the facilities I will say that the water tasted quite good right from the tap. The shower had immediate hot water. The soap provided had a wonderful citrus smell that was invigorating. For being on a busy street the noise level even with the window open was only slight. Location for our needs was perfect and it was easy to find. I will probably stay here again when I am in the area.
