I stayed at the Great Neck Inn in December while attending a conference, and the experience was extremely disappointing. The outside temperature was around 20 degrees, yet the heat in my room did not work and the temperature never rose above 60 degrees. The room was painfully cold and uncomfortable. I spoke with several other conference attendees who stayed at the hotel, and none of them had working heat either. The only solution offered by the hotel was an old space heater, which made little to no difference. After my stay, I contacted management to request a refund due to the conditions. Instead, they offered a discount that wasn’t even half the cost of the night. I couldn't wait to leave this room and would never recommend anyone stay here.

The staff was wonderful. Maria, the gracious housekeeper, Felix the welcoming valet, Paul the quiet, courteous clerk and Hannah, our lovely bartender. She makes a really nice Old Fashioned. Made us feel welcome. The heating system is good down to 20 degrees outdoors, but can't handle a cold snap. Luckily, maintenance came up with a space heater and we warmed up.

The Inn at Great Neck is a fantastic place. This is the second time to stay at the property. Close to the LIRR and the Plaza, so getting anywhere you want to explore easy. The staff and rooms were great, friendly and accommodating.

The room was very well sized, comfortable temperature control in the winter months. Great water pressure in the shower. Friendly staff, including very friendly valet parking attendance. Breakfast was nothing impressive, but it was complimentary.

We stayed at the Inn at Great Neck due to it's proximity to UBS area. The hotel staff was friendly and our room was clean. The food we ordered for room service was delicious and the gentleman who assisted us was very helpful. We also had the free breakfast in the morning.

Room was clean but freezing. Called for maintenance when it was 67 in the evening. Man pulled the cover off the heater and came back with some reflective metal tape. Said to leave the thermostat on until the room warmed enough and then turn it to auto. He also pointed out there was an extra blanket in the closet. When I awoke it was 64. Before leaving the next morning, I told the front desk to get it fixed, get me a heater, or change my room. When I returned in the evening, the thermostat read 61. No communication at all from the hotel all day. After I complained they did move me to a room with working heat, but when I saw the metal tape, I recalled I had the same issue in another room the previous visit. Reading reviews evidences the property has ongoing heating issues.

Clean room, breakfast ok . Got a room where I could hear the train though. Location is great for daytime activities . The curtains don’t completely cover the window. Took some maneuvering to close them in place. Overall, this is my go to hotel when I have to be in Great Neck!
