Beautiful, clean and friendly staff. We were disappointed that the hot tub closed at sunset as we were looking forward to it after a long day sight seeing. Loved having the hot pot for tea. I would suggest adding a microwave so visitors can actually eat their leftovers from the nearby restaurants. We enjoyed being off the main road yet close to the restaurants and shopping!

The Halepuna was a very nice stay, the room was very clean, beds were comfortable, very quiet and daily housekeeping service. Amenities of waterbottle, slippers, coffee and a tea pot, as well as gym, pool, and garden to relax in. The parking was not too expensive compared to other hotels, but you do havd go go all the way to the lobby, walk past the Halekulani Bakery and then go up to the parking garage for self parking. It would be nice if there was a connecting area between hotel and parking, but not terrible compared to places like the Hilton Hawaiian Village. The toiletries were a bit scarce, they did not provide lotion, the qtips were the kind with plastic instead of paper. Im surprised with the pricetag of this hotel that some small but important details seemed to be overlooked / missing. Overall a great stay, but don't know if I'd stay again.

On the plus side, The staff at Halepuna were great - everyone we spoke with were friendly and efficient in responding. Also, the location of the hotel was convenient with free self parking, the room very clean, and the view from our ocean front room was spectacular. However, the building, at least our room, is in serious need of sound proofing. We could hear every footstep, chair moving, etc, from the folks above us. When they rose and started moving around at 5:30 a.m. in the morning, for example, the noise was so loud that even with earplugs there was no way one could continue sleeping. It was a ridiculous amount of noise to tolerate. Unfortunately, being unable to relax and enjoy a restful stay from the ongoing noise whenever neighboring guests were in their room did negate an otherwise positive experience. One other note- the rooms are very small, including the decks. That wasn’t an issue for my husband and I, but thought it worth mentioning as the room was considerably smaller than in the other hotels we’ve stayed in Waikiki.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The hotel was beautiful and clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the amenities were great. Everything was within walking distance, which made getting around easy. The pool was beautiful, and having a bar right there was a big plus. The only downside was that the pool closed a bit early. We also appreciated that they provide beach towels for guests—such a nice touch!
