A great alternative to a hotel room with a lovely shaded patio and great decor. The host is wonderful. I would absolutely stay again and recommend. Note, it doesn’t have a kitchen (small fridge and microwave), but it’s in a great location with restaurants and a Whole Foods around the corner. Also good walking in the neighborhood.

The host was nice and helpful. The library was cool to browse through and the pool was fun to chill next to. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful to walk through. Everything was clean and comfortable to lay on. Just be aware that there are no blinds for the windows and it is a room attached to a house. It was quiet. We did enjoy our stay thoroughly though!

Great Houston vacation spot

What a wonderful place! Nancy (Paris) is so welcoming and a talented painter, and the inside and outdoor spaces are charming, fascinating, and peaceful. I loved staying here for my spring break trip, and it was so quiet and calming to come back to in between all my activities. I definitely recommend it!

FANTASTIC Stay In Houston, Texas

Overall, my stay was incredible. I am full-time moving from Los Angeles to Houston and while my townhome wasn’t ready yet, I had to stay in a VRBO. Moving can be chaotic, even living out of your suitcase with the anticipation for moving day a week later. Nancy was responsive and checked in periodically to make sure everything was running smooth throughout my stay. The listing is just as it appears online and is, in fact, much more beautiful in person in my opinion. A nice touch is that it’s private with its own dedicated parking space and private pool for use, especially in the Houston weather. Would definitely recommend, and I can’t say enough good things about the host or the listing.

Loved it!

We loved staying at Nancy’s place. The studio was perfect for us for the weekend - very clean, had everything we needed, easy to get to, off street parking, close to shops and good food. Very easy drive or Uber to the museum/ orchestra. We enjoyed hanging out at the pool. Nancy is very kind. Highly recommended.

An Oasis in the City

The artist’s library was just that; a beautiful spot where you’d love to spend a day just browsing the bookshelves, and find something new every time you did. Nancy was a communicative host who made sure we had everything we need. The setup of the studio was very private, and the back space lap pool was secluded with high walls and beautiful greenery. It was close to everything yet worlds away, and the most perfect break!
