Didnât know it was under construction/remodel. Lobby is a real mess. No hot water, room condition was marginal. I think it might have been an attempt at remodeling but the workmanship was extremely poor.
Will say the breakfast was decent. Day clerk at front folding table was very rude
The place was under construction without telling us at time of booking. Breakfast was worst I've experienced. Elevator broke down with one of our group inside...a single, 80 yr old woman stuck inside it for 30 minutes!
I'll never stay at a Hampton property again!!!
When I first got there they tried to charge my card again even though I had already paid online. The hotel was under construction in the lobby area, eating area, and the 3rd floor. Our air conditioner kept turning itself completely off throughout the night, like the unit completely shut off/down. The elevator stopped working while we were trying to use it so we took the stairs. So someone at the front desk said he had to go reset the elevator completely to see if it would work. Overall a horrible experience.
I reserved 2 king bedrooms, and received a King, and 2 double beds. There are no fans in the bathrooms, so steam from the shower and stench from taking a dump fills your room. They didnt serve eggs at all on one of the days (but the breakfast is free, just not much of it) The parking is VERY limited (again, they were under renovation). The front desk feature on the room phone doesnt work, and there is no way to get new towels, washcloths, etc. after dark.
I did not even stay at the hotel. I arrived on the 19th, went to the room and what I saw was disgusting. Torn bedsheets, tattered furniture, urine-smelly room. It was a total disaster. I left immediately and asked that my money be refunded. I am yet to receive the fund.
Booked a room online & once I arrive to check in, they inform me they actually have no rooms available & would be "refunding " me my funds back. After a few days, nothing was refunded so I followed up & they said since i "stayed" at the hotel they wouldn't refund me anything. LOL they denied me a room & won't return my momey back plus staff was so rude about the situation. Do not recommend
Arrived to the hotel after driving 5 hours only to be told that our reservation was cancelled due to being overbooked. Receptionist advised that a refund was being processed which was not. Horrible experience
