I stayed at Hyatt Place Houston while attending the Houston Cigar Festival, as a cigar vendor. My only issue is, why isn’t there a smoking section away from the actual building? The confusion comes as I noticed the smell of marijuana on the 6th floor for the duration of my stay.

This was a clean and Comfy hotel. A few minutes from the galleria and right across the street from the Conservatory which has ALOT of hood food options. Crystal was so nice and friendly during check in. I’d definitely book again if I ever am back in Houston.

I booked a king size bed and got a double bedroom, cable was not working and when I reported it they said that there wasn’t anyone from maintenance available and the worst part is that house keeping did not make up the room. Really surprised with all this challenges that I had in my stay.

The hotel was very accessible and the area around it was clean and it felt safe. Walkable distance to the famous galleria mall. The room itself was clean, beddings and pillows were comfortable. The breakfast offering was a bit limited as compared to other places we have stayed at. The staff was helpful and courteous. Just fyi, there is no self parking in this hotel. The valet service was efficient. I would definitely consider staying here again.
