This was a non-smoking room, but it stunk of smoke. Really poor ventilation, plus the windows could not be opened, air was filled with humidity after a shower that stayed for hours. The carpet was dirty, and in the corner, there was a super-filthy, stained chair. The elevator did not work, and the stairwell smelled of pot. Two stars for okay breakfast and friendly front desk.

I do not recommend this property. The elevator was out of service, and there was a strong odor of marijuana in the hallways that grew worse at night. Some residents appeared to live on-site, and it seems to operate as a government-assisted property. The room had roaches, and the hallway fire alarms were either deactivated or needed new batteries, which was concerning. I stayed here during an emergency to be close to the hospital, but the overall condition and cleanliness of the property were very poor. This review reflects only the condition of the property, not the staff, who were polite and doing their best.

Elevator was broken and I had a room on 3rd floor. When I went to the stairs well, it was filthy and smelly. Only tried coffer for breakfast and it was pretty much dark water, not coffee taste.

The elevator was out so that made it hard to get to the 3rd floor. Good news it was horrible only when having to take your luggage up and down. Only negative is I didn’t like the shirtless guy in the lobby area, but I guess that is up to the staff to tell them to put on a shirt. Excellent location and right off the highway and easy to find and in the middle of everything. Only about 10 mins from the Galleria Mall.
