Location naturally being immersed in nature is stunning but we had to move twice due to noise. The room upstairs was so loud, I think it was surprising for a fairmont. The hotel offered to move us for the second night and this end up facilitating a good night’s sleep. We were woken up on the second night by an alarm of a neighbour or room going off for 30 minutes and the cleaners attending the adjacent rooms. Surprising noise but the food, property, cocktails and location to utilise for sports are phenomenal.

I have stayed at JPL many times in the past. We love the location, the main lodge is beautiful and regardless, whether you go in the summer or in the winter is always beautiful. Unfortunately, over the last year, the quality of the service of the lounge, the quality and taste of the food serve has decreased significantly. What has increased significantly is the cost of the food that has not kept up with the quality or the quantity of the food mean main serve? I was surprised to know that at 5 PM on a Saturday you were not able to order nachos w/cheese at the lounge on the main lodge because they ran out of nachos. This is inconceivable. I will still recommend JPL to my friends but not to eat there until the quality of the prices improve.

Although Jasper has always being a favourite place to go visit and still is. However, JPL definitely needs to do some work. I'm referring to is the lack of customer service while at the JPL over the May long weekend 2025. Stepped into the lounge with my family. The first time it took a good 15 minutes before we were even brought waters, then it was a good 15 to 20 for our drinks. the second visit was not quite as long for the initial water, however getting drinks took about the same. Order charcuterieboards, and chicken wings for snacks and that still was a good 30 minutes!. I stayed in a junior suite price was over $1400. per night and I guess I just expected a little bit more from JPL. There was no water bottles in the room or welcoming gift. Very minimum on the TV to watch I don't even think there was one movie on Friday or Saturday night that I could watch. I don't think I should have to pay for the movies. JPL should have a movie channel at least.There was no spare blanket-which is typically standard in a hotel room. Although there was a fair amount of renovations being done to a lot of the rooms- the construction going on was kept to a minimum and the workers were not all over the place. You barely saw them-that JPL did quite well.

Do not recommend - We paid over $500, for 2 beds for 1 night. The first room was dirty and looked like it hadn't been cleaned from the previous guests. We complained and were given an "upgrade" which was the same room, just a little larger. People go to the Fairmont expecting greatness..... we did not get greatness, we got mediocre at best. On top of that, when we complained, they denied our complaint and said there was nothing they could do. There are much nicer places to stay in Jasper than this; save your money, and stay somewhere else!

The rates are good for this resort because of the time of year.The resort is going thru significant renovations on all the bungalows so many construction people and trucks around the property and although it didnt ruin our stay, the resort website should advise people of this.Also the restaurant menus need a complete overall as they are very very limited!For breakfast I had pancakes , only two very small ones provided, not worth the money considering they offer a 3 egg breakfast for a very similar price,
