Love Sam's Town! The room was very clean and great for the price. We decided to get a room with the view of Mystic Falls Park and it was a good decision. I will say though that the mattress in our room was extremely hard/uncomfortable and the TV kept freezing, but besides that, I had no complaints about the room. They have free parking and plenty of amenities/dining to choose from. It's not in the best location, but the inside is nice and the staff was very friendly.

The day would have been terrible if it wasn't for the Security team and an honest worker in the Sports Deli. After going for breakfast and returning to my room I found I had lost a large sum of money. I went back to the restaurant. The hostess called Security. Security said that the money had been turned in. Thankfully an employee with integrity had turned it in. I'm grateful and will take the Security Officer's advice and put it in a wallet or billfold instead of my pocket. I hope the employee was given a bonus!!!
