When i checked in. They gave me the room card and room number 5226. I went to the room and the card didn't open the door. So I got a security guard to help with the door. It turns out that they gave me the wrong room number. Then, I left for a couple of hours when I get back. The fire department was there. And the alarm kept going off at 11:30 pm. I had been up since 3 o'clock that morning. I was exhausted and tired not knowing when the alarms were going to stop going off. I ended up getting a room change. The room they changed me to was on the far side of the.Resort from where I was and basically a downgrade. I had a river view room, king size.bed and then I end up in a room with two queen beds.It's smelled, the bed was very uncomfortable.The pillows were awful. I ended up with a sore neck and outside the window was a lovely parking lot with huge street lights in the parking lot. Shining right into the room. I couldn't close the drapes, so it was like daytime at midnight when they got me the new room to switch too. When i checked out.I asked to speak to management, and I proceeded to tell the female that I was very unhappy. I stay at Avi every time I go to Laughlin and Ft.Mojave area and it was the worst I have had the whole time I've been staying there. I understand emergencies happened. I get it. But it was just completely unacceptable. As far as I was concerned and all they did was look at me and laugh. Thats how my stay was. Casandra

The pool is awesome, the coffee is the best I've had, v staff was friendly and attentive. Ribs are clean and economical. It's not a giant casino, easy to walk strong. They have the best fine dining in lake.

I had to leave the hotel. it was too filthy. even the second room they put me in. I'm trying to get my money back because I didn't stay either nights. the website is very inaccurate of what the property looks like. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. .

We went here for our honeymoon. I told the lady at the front desk that we checked in with, because I didn’t know if they had any packages that we could upgrade to. All she said was “oh ok.” This hotel smelt like cigarette smoke. Our room was suppose to be a “river view” instead we were on the 1st floor facing the stairs to the pool and another wall of the building. When we went to lay down to go to bed, the bed was broken. The bed was supposed to be attached to the wall and it wasn’t. The nights stands were supposed to be attached to the wall as well to make them all sturdy, they were not. You can hear EVERYTHING including your next door neighbor, people in the hallway, and outside at the pool. The shower curtain on the outside looked ok, but the plastic curtain on the inside, was turning yellow at the bottom. When I turned the shower on and pulled the plug up so the water would come out of the shower head. The water came out of both the shower head and the nozzle. Don’t walk without shoes in the room or else your feet will be sticky. The pool had a green hue to the water. The hot tub was foaming and also had a hue to it. The beach had trash on it. They advertised jet skis and motor craft, we called and the people said they actually do not do them anymore since covid-19. They advertise a buffet in the building, it was also closed permanently. Not the place to go for your honeymoon nor a relaxing vacation.

We stayed at the Avi Resort as part of a group. We rented three rooms for four days, accommodating a total of five people. The Casino and hotel hallways were very cold. Definitely bring a jacket to wear while inside. The Casino is smaller than expected. A few tables had a few people playing. The casino was not busy (not even on Saturday and Sunday). There are several places to eat. We ate at Feather's Cafe, Subway, and Panda Express; the food and service were good. The room did not have a microwave. The TV was broken. My sister and I had to fix. The carpet was dirty. The ice machine on the 3rd floor was not working. The front desk directed us to the others; they also were not working. Red flashing service light and the one on the main floor was flashing "clean". The front desk said they would put in a ticket; however, this was the same throughout all 4 days. No resort fees! The front desk personnel were very friendly. They ensured that all our rooms were together as requested. Melody was working when we checked in, and she was very pleasant and helpful.

I didn't use the pool area. The staff on the floor were very friendly and helpful. I used valet parking otherwise it is a fairly long walk with suitcases etc. My room is very quiet, nice and clean.

Pool can use cleaning . There were rocks inside the pool and jacuzzi. My husband hurt his foot because of it. But overall, it was a pleasant stay.
