Spacious double bed flat (51.3 m2) in kentish town. 5 minutes from tube station, quiet road off high street. 10 mins from Camden Town. High ceilings, large living room & bedroom, all mod cons, separate kitchen. Bath & Shower.

High Ceilings, large living room, with separate kitchen. Double bed with foam memory mattress. Relaxed feel, spacious. Will really feel like your home however long your stay. 51.3 sq m.

The whole flat is yours, for the duration of your stay.
36" Widescreen HD TV (with skysports), also has macbook HD cable if you want to watch films from your laptop.
Dishwasher, Washer Dryer. Wifi internet, colour printer. Stereo. Beatles Rock Band, RB and singstar for PS3. Bath and shower, with heated towel rack. I also now have a high spec travel cot if you are travelling with a baby or small child

I stay in another flat in London Bridge (20 minutes away) so am available if you have any problems. I will send a PDF of my guide to my property, Kentish Town and London in general. Hard Copy also at the property. I will let you in to the property and show you around, answering any questions you may have.

The neighbourhood

Staying in Kentish Town allows you to live a wonderful local lifestyle and also be in central London in 10-15 minutes. Kentish Town is a unique and quirky place, totally at ease with itself. I will provide an in depth PDF of all the best things to see and do, if you enquire about booking. Below are some highlights. Caversham Road is a quiet street just off the high street and 7-10 mins walk from 3 major transport hubs, tube, overground and national rail. Kentish Town has incredible and critically acclaimed restaurants, Pizza East, Chicken Shop, Dirty Burger (Shoreditch Houses triple venture north), amazing gastropubs, The Abbey, The Oxford. Artisan Coffee houses (Arancini, The Fields Beneath) and brilliant pubs. Live music is at the Forum and various pubs. Supermarket wise we have a Sainsburys local and Co-Op, Tesco Express and fruit and veg stalls. Pret A Manger and Costa Coffee are also right next to the (email hidden)ere is a large Sainsburys 10 mins away in Camden as well as Marks And Spencers.

Getting around

Flat 2, 49 Caversham Road is perfectly placed for transport. Kentish Town tube station (northern line) is 7 minutes walk away. This station also has Thameslink trains (4 mins from St Pancras for Eurostar travellers) and runs a stopping service to both Luton & Gatwick Airport (a bit slower than the express trains, but cheaper and gets you direct to kentish town)
Kentish Town West Overground Station is a 10 minute walk away and connects you with all stations on the newly expanded overground network.
There is a bus stop at the end of my road, buses all serve Camden and then various central London destinations. 134 and 214 are both night buses & the N20 also serves Kentish Town.

Felt like home

The flat was just as described, even better. The place is a perfect 1 bedroom flat in a nice quiet neighborhood that makes it feel like a home away from home. Transit is a short walk away to connect you to everything. Lots of local shops and pubs are nearby. The host (Stan) was amazing. He works with each of his guests to make their stay as perfect as possible. He was able to accommodate my early arrival and made sure to explain everything to me when I arrived. He was always available to contact if needed (as I did) to answer any questions. I will be recommending this place to anyone that I know travelling to London. I stayed for a week and it was the perfect place for that length of time. A nice a relaxing home base for your adventures.

Great place to stay in London

London's public transit system makes it easy to stay anywhere in the city. This apartment is convenient to the light rail in a quiet neighborhood with an incredible restaurant (the Lion and Unicorn) right around the corner. Stan, our host, met us at check in and was responsive to all our questions. The bed was super comfortable, too. Well equipped kitchen with whatever you need should you decide to cook. All around great stay!

Great Kentish Town Flat!

Stan’s place in Kentish Town is the perfect location to experience London. His place is well furnished, has many amenities you won’t find at a hotel, and is in a great location. Grocery stores, restaurants, bars, betting shops, pubs

Stan's place feels like our own little London home - clean, bright. cozy. Stan made us feel so comfortable and the check in process was very clear. The location makes it easy to pop around London with lots of shops around. We loved Kentish Town - loads of small independent restaurants with loads of cuisine options. Great location

As both of us were sick it was hard to feel good about anything, but the flat was in a great location, and the walk to the underground a breeze. Very vibrant area, with lots of shops and eateries. Easy to get into London itself, and we enjoyed our stay. I will say though, that Stan needs to do something about the bed. He knows what I mean I think!!

Homely vibe and a very helpful host

The apartment is conveniently located, just a couple of minutes walk to the Tube station, Kentish Town on the northern line. It's close to a lot of shops, but far enough to enjoy a quiet night of sleep. The apartment is equipped with everything that you need, clean towels, toiletries and such. It was a very pleasant stay and Stan was very welcoming and helpful. We will definitely be returning here at our next visit.

We stayed at Stan's lovely flat for 3 weeks over Christmas 2022. Stan was really friendly and accommodating at the check in, carefully explaining all operational details and welcoming us with flowers and chocolates. Stan gave us a great welcome and rundown of local restaurants/pubs in Kentish Town! We were thrilled with the location so close to Central London (but without the huge accommodation costs!) It was just like home from home.
