The location of hotel was great. Staff generally friendly. However calling this hotel a 4 star is a real stretch. The hotels carpet was dirty, the rooms we had recked at smoke and a funky smell like cat urine. The only ice machine was in basement. No spare blankets in room. Maid left no coffee at clean up. Door in restroom bottom moldy and wallpaper was coming off. Definitely needs a makeover. The so called resort fee outrageous and unfair. This particular hotel Will definaobe a pass in the future.

I spent the weekend in NYC to celebrate my birthday. The location was great. I could walk everywhere. Just around the corner there is a great deli, a little cozy and fun bar, and great Mexican. This hotel was very welcoming. The renovations are great and the whole building was extremely clean and fresh. I really enjoyed this hotel and will rebook it here if I come back.
