The time i arrived no light, rooms were smelling as pee, i checkedout in 40 minutes as it was directed by hotels.com representative but still not got my refund And very disturbing part is they took my credit card details on a paper. Room category was different

Very close to the beach, shops and restaurants. Walkable. They also cleaned the room everyday if we asked which was nice. Small breakfast 8:00-12:00 at the lobby from Dunkin’ Donuts was also nice.

It is close to Lincoln Rd, everything is close by. Parking being the biggest issue in the area, complementary parking was a big advantage.

The building was very unique , we stayed with kids and they were so excited to check all the statues every time we enter to the lobby . The elevator was very slow , hotel is old but clean . Loved the morning donuts and coffee . Very close to everything but also not noisy . Will go back there again :)

A wonderful stay here at the James. The room was clean, the bathroom was clean. The decor and architecture was an added eclectic touch. And as others have mentioned, the free parking was great.

The staffs are rude. It seemed that they are annoyed with something. I travelled with a baby and they started to comment even when the baby just touched at something. Always saying that if break you have to pay. Also at the time of check out, there was a big box with little garbage in it. I threw some trash items in it and the receptionist started to yell. I told him that i thought it to be a dustbin, thats why threw here. But he was not listening to me and was in his own zone. The only plus thing at this hotel is the parking and secondly its close to miami beach. I guess thats the biggest advantage of staying in this hotel. Over all good experience and i would request the receptionist to be little polite to their guests. Thanks.!

We enjoyed our stay here but the property could definitely use some maintenance. The value of its location, price and free parking outweighed its maintenance issues so we would stay again if we’re in the area.
