Balcony great, but electrical problem

Room was great. We especially liked the balcony and the view. The only downside was that the light above the bed would not turn off completely. We did call the front desk and they offered to send an engineer, but it was late and we didn’t want to deal with that. Still it was bothersome. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay!

Location and space

Hotel is in a good location. Close to old fisherman’s wharf and 15 min scenic walk to Cannery Row. The room was clean and spacious with a nice balcony. No room to sit but it was just nice to get some fresh air. There are floor to ceiling window blinds for privacy too. We didn’t try room service not the bakery attached to the hotel was good for brekkie, if a bit expensive.

Beautiful hotel and convenient location

Great location, easily accessible to downtown Monterey and short driving distance to Pacific Grove and Carmel. Lots of amazing restaurants within walking distance as well as wine tasting rooms. The hotel lounge is massive and has a restaurant that’s open throughout the day. Rooms are clean and spacious. Hotel staff was friendly and accommodating.

Perfect in every way

Amazing experience. Lobby, rooms were clean and pristine. My room had a balcony which was great. Though it over saw a street, still the trees and lights in the evening and night made it a great spot to just stand. The parking was a walk though you can use the valet and other service to get your luggage up. Very very close to the wharf and plenty of restaurants, bike/walk paths. Over all a great experience.
