Inverness A315 Condo/ Riverfront*Winter Texans Welcome

Comal Condo at Inverness is a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom condo on the third floor of the Inverness condo complex. This condo is riverfront with access to the Comal River as well as a shared pool. The condo has additional shared amenities including a large outdoor deck overlooking the Comal River, BBQ grills, and picnic tables. Located directly across the street from Schlitterbahn Waterpark, and walking distance to last tubers exit and Downtown New Braunfels.

You are able to access the condo by stairs or elevator. The master bedroom features a queen size bed and access to a private master bathroom with standup shower. The 2nd bedroom features a queen bed with and is located across the hall from the shared bath. Lastly, the living room has room for a queen size blow up mattress that can accommodate 2 additional guests.

This property is managed by Big Chief Vacation Properties. We will communicate check-in & out instructions to you 24-hours prior to your arrival. You are welcome to contact us during your stay as needed. During the summer months, we will not be able to accommodate early check-ins. Late check-outs are dependent on availability and a $25/hourly charge will be incurred.

We work closely with a 3rd party equipment rental company that provides tubes to guests staying at our Downtown New Braunfels properties for an additional cost. The tubes are dropped off at the property prior to your arrival, aired up and ready to go so all you have to do when you arrive is jump on in! Let us help get your vacation started even sooner!

New Braunfels is conveniently located less than1 hour from San Antonio International Airport and Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. We can arrange for transportation to and from our vacation rentals. Additionally, the New Braunfels National Airport is located less than 7 miles from downtown New Braunfels making it a perfect option for our private travels. Transportation dependent on availability so ample time is greatly appreciated.

Wonderful location - Highly recommend!!!

Terrific location and clean place. VERY convenient if floating the Comal or going to Schlitterbahn since it is literally right across the street. You can launch your tube right in the Comal from the property and take about an hour & a half float then walk a couple of blocks back to your condo, easy peezy. This is the second time we've stayed and will definitely be back. Thanks for the great communication too!

BEDDING

The only problem with this rental unit was the bedding. It is showing lots of wear. We complained about the queen bed in the second bedroom, and the management company notified the owner. He did replace the mattress, however, the replacement was maybe 10% better. It looked like he just took a mattress from another rental and replaced it with the original one. Other then that, everything was fine, and it was well equiped with everything we needed.

The unit is in great need of a new coffee pot. It took an hour to brew an 8 cup pot. It would also have been nice to know that no body soap for showers was to be provided. Otherwise, the unit is very well appointed and attracively decorated.

Everything was good other then our parking spot being close to the end and was kind of hard to park in due to those concrete cylinders in the way and too close to vehicle. Had to park kind of crooked. Would be good parking for someone with a small vehicle!

Absolutely perfect!!!

This listing was exactly what it was listed as. My wife and I and my cousin and his wife stayed. There was easy access to the river and easy access to town. The covered parking spot was a little tight for my truck but my cousins suv fit perfectly. The uncovered parking was full for a bit but we eventually got a spot. Other than that this property was great!!

Filthy condo with inaccurate listing

Property location is great, which is really the only redeeming quality. The listing photos are a bit misleading; the kitchen and living areas have been remodeled but the bathrooms are still original so the tile is covered in mold stains. The two bedrooms have full size beds, not queens as stated in the listing. There’s only one set of bed linens for each room, which is unfortunate because when we arrived our sheets had hair in them and they were covered in red and brown stains. I couldn’t sleep; I laid awake all night because I felt I was sleeping in someone else’s filth. I resorted to washing the sheets myself the next day. The floors were gross; the bottoms of my feet turned black just from walking on them. The bedrooms stay hot because the air conditioner is regulated and won’t let you turn it down. The property hosts refunded my cleaning fee after I told them how dirty the place was, which I appreciated but I spent two sleepless nights here so the cleaning fee doesn’t really make up for that experience.

Great location! Great condo!

This place was super easy to book. We float the comal river every summer but had never stayed at this property. We decided to check it out and I am so glad we did! Easy access to the river and walking distance to all the fun spots in new Braunfels. The condo was great for our family of 4.

It was okay

Location was great (right on the Comal river and close to Schlitterbahn) but other than that, everything was just okay. No extra linens or blankets. Check in and out process was easy. Parking in the garage was very difficult for our Suburban. The Air conditioning was struggling the whole time and it felt humid and stagnant in the room. Would not stay here again unfortunately.

Overall great place!!! Unfortunately the dryer was really noisy and ruined some of clothes (burn marks and holes). Do not use dryer if noisy- lesson learned! Overall we loved this place, just wished we hadn’t ruined so many clothes.

Great Location, But Needs Updating!

The condo itself had been updated, but bathrooms haven’t yet. Sheets and towels had stains on them. Showers had not been cleaned and that was a bit gross. Dryer didn’t work. Parking for this unit is also very hard to get to. Overall it was an okay stay.

Comfortable modern living on the river

We arrived Friday and had no problems checking into building. They even have a little hotel cart and elevator to help get luggage up to room since it is on the 3rd floor. The place was very clean snd nice modern decor. We enjoyed dinners out on the large community patio or right next to the river on the picnic benches. Plenty of things to do close by and places to check out. Our favorite breakfast spot is Union Street Station and Duckies is the best place for all your summer gear. This place would be perfect when Schlitterbahn water park is open as it’s right across the street. The Comal river is in your backyard and it is crystal clear and refreshing. We enjoyed snorkeling around and taking out the paddle board since it wasn’t too busy with tubers yet. We would definitely stay again.

Great Location for Floating and Centrally Located

The Inverness is a great location for floating, its a fairly short walk to City Park where you can drop in with your own floats or rent them locally. After about a 45 minute float you can get right out at the Inverness or float about 15 more minutes to the public exit and walk back to City Park and do the float again. Pros: This unit had many updates including a wonderful and beautiful kitchen and dining and living room furniture with easy care vinyl 'wood' flooring. It is located on the third floor but there is an elevator for moving your items. The Inverness has a great large community deck, mostly shaded for eating outside and great access for floating. Cons: Access to the unit is unnecessarily frustrating due to the unit still requiring a key box and key lock to access. Added to this, the key does not work properly in the deadbolt either due to a bad key cut or a faulty lockset. It takes too long to figure out how to make the key turn in the lock. With today's keyless entry's being so easy and convenient not sure why this unit is till using a key? Both Beds are way too soft and so Incredibly Noisy, I do not even understand how a bed can squeak and crunch and make so much noise waking you with each turn. Everyone can hear! It was uncomfortable and very distracting. Be aware that neither couch makes into a bed so you can only sleep 1 extra on the couch. The air condition cannot go below 70 and it was a bit warm for us at night even at 70. With all the other very nice upgrades it would be fantastic if the beds and lock where upgraded and the air wasn't set at a fixed level. Also, there was no patio chairs for sitting which wasn't an issue for us since there is no real view from there. Inverness no longer has the two hot-tubs it used to have and the pool was dirty, but we didn't use it anyway.
