I did not like the hotel was dark outside. There were no exterior lights and was a safety concern coming/going at night. The room was not cleaned and bathroom had hair in the sink. There was no compensation for these concerns that was brought to supervisor’s attention.

First I was turned off by the fact that on the website and all 3rd party websites, La Quinta offered an airport shuttle at this location. When I called the hotel to inquire about the shuttle, I was told that the service was discontinued. Second, in my first room, my bath tub was FILTHY. I could roll the dirt with my finger. And the bathroom sink was clogged. I was moved to a different room. That room smelled faintly like cigarettes but I was only there for 1 night and off to finish the rest of my vacation. I was due to return later in the week but cancelled my reservation

The bed sheets were clean, other than that, there is nothing else positive I could say about this place! The restroom in the room was nasty, out dated, and the shower was so gross looking no one took a shower. There was gum stuck to the wall and window curtains as if the gum was used to keep the curtains shut…. We asked for more pillows and blankets, and the staff member appeared very upset that we interrupted her Netflix show on her cell phone. Long story short, I’ll never be staying here again, and never recommend it to anyone.

The rooms have always been clean, but some of the furniture in the rooms (suite, specifically, on my last visit) are dated, scratched up with wobbly legs… Most of the furniture in that suite should be removed—minimalism is the trend. I stay here often to fly out of New Orleans and will continue to book. Too bad updates aren’t feasible for this peroperty.

Disappointing Stay

The first thing we heard when walking into the room was the AC. It sounded like a train the entire time. The shower just did not look clean due to appearance of old faded tiles. Good thing we brought along our can of Lysol. There was only one trash basket. It was during the Continental morning breakfast that we realized the hotel appeared to accommodate lots of construction type workers.
