Very nice boutique hotel. Still has the charm of an old building, with modern touches. Very close (walking distance) To canal St, bourbon street, convention center, Aquarium etc. Beautiful courtyard. Try the bar. Its very nice. Did not get a chance to try the restaurant.

Hotel is nice and convenient. Parking probably same as all the hotels…expensive. Was charged even more for a F150 consider oversized? Almost $70 a day. There are a lot of surface lots very close and saw you can get day passes for about half the cost of valet’s price…the lots were maybe half full the whole time we were there. Overall I’d stay at hotel again, rooms a little small but it was very quiet and clean.

Beautiful charming hotel in a great location. Elise at the front desk was extremely helpful and kind, helping navigate extended stays on 3 rooms for our family. Only downside is if you are on the first floor, they blasted the music from the bar until 2:30 am making it impossible to sleep.

The carpet was dirty and stained but the room was very charming and the front desk person was so lovely after we waited 45 minutes for our room service I went down and I asked if they wouldn’t mind just putting it in the room so that we could eat when we returned and he was wonderful and he did personally make sure that they did so.

The 2nd floor room was extremely noisy. It was by the elevator and ice machine so occasional noise. If you tried to rest before going out at night the live band downstairs could easily be heard in your room. The walls were thin so I can hear the neighbors next door having sex at 230 am for over an hour. Then the garage trucks came around 6am to shake the mental dumpsters. The room was facing the ally where the dumpsters were. If the room was nonrefundable or I would have left. I asked if there were other rooms available and told it’s Halloween weekend so no availability to switch. I sleep like 3 to 4 hrs a day.

Arrived with high expectations given the reviews and images and expectations were met. Location was ideal - close enough to the French Quarter to walk but also far enough away that we truly felt we were in a different part of the city. Nearby bars, restaurants, coffee shops. We walked to Cafe du Monde and it only took about 15 minutes; another day, we walked to Cochon Butcher in about 15 minutes the other direction, and that's about the same distance to the WWII museum. Atmosphere was restored classic with a Southern vibe. Looked like the photos. Jazz band during happy hour on Friday was a nice touch and we people coming in-and-out, you felt like you were truly in the heart of New Orleans. Service was good. Took advantage of the Press Box happy hour. Everything was clean. Could tell this was very important for both rooms and the hotel lobby. The room sizes are as described... a standard room is going to feel like a small, boutique-type hotel room. The couple we traveled with mentioned being able to hear some noise through the walls, but we didn't have that issue. Only small quibble: do not look at the images of the shower/bathroom on third-party sites and expect that to be what's in all the rooms. Based on the Hotels.com photos, we expected a nice, sizable shower and not an old, small, basic bathtub/shower combo. I suppose that's our fault. Overall, felt like it was a fair value and met expectations. Would stay there again.

We were very upset with the valet service. We left our EV with the attendant and asked to have our car plugged in. Our car was sitting by the bay with the outlet but not plugged in. Cost us a lot of inconvenience and a lot of stress in the morning. Will not stay here again.
