The only good thing was that the hotel is close to where we want to be. The thing that went badly, besides what they call “continental breakfast” (primarily Cheerios and milk) and shabby rooms (overdue for updating), was that they threw away my pair of jeans that was inadvertently left. I called the night I got home and they don’t have it. My son, who lives nearby, went there and came up empty handed. It’s odd they would “throw away” a $200 pair of jeans left hanging in the closet without bringing it to someone’s attention. Will never stay here again.

Pictures don't represent the whole room

The pictures shown of this room don't indicated that the toilet and shower area are glassed in parts of the room and not separated by walls. The glass in the toilet area is obscured but still lacks privacy. The shower area has only a curtain that can be pulled around the shower and leaves the room damp. Dirty coffee cups were not replaced or washed.

Do not book this hotel

Cons: everything
I booked and paid for a deluxe room. when I got there they gave me a downgraded room and did not notify me. Then the staff made no effort to comfort me. for example give me a credit back towards the crappy room they stuck me. But, it gets even better. I prepaid with Travelocity. when I got to the hotel they said they had to charge my credit card $250 for security deposit. then 2 days after I check out they charged me an additional $137 on me credit card saying travelocity had the wrong rate on the website. crooks.

Great location, great for a quick stay

Hotel Le Bleu's biggest asset is its location. Centrally located in the trendy Park Slope area of Brooklyn, the hotel is literally blocks away from cute restaurants, shopping, bars and nightlife. Parking is free and on-site, if you are lucky enough to snag one of the 10 or so spaces available in the hotel's lot, but don't expect to check in early (even two hours early) without paying an early check-in fee of $100. ("The room is ready, but there is a $100 early check-in fee...") No matter though, because the hotel will store your luggage while you go have a drink or meal just a few blocks away. Rooms are clean, free breakfast is a plus. Really, the perfect place for a quick stay.

2nd stay

Pros: A beautiful room in Brooklyn
Cons: Room cleaning; I'm not sure of the hours this was available but towels weren't replaced. Needs an ice machine. Room was dark on arrival.
It went well. We usually get here too late to find on-site parking because the lot is small, but the street next to it sufficed. Left valuables in the car in clear view, but it was all there in the morning. Got a room on the 2nd floor this time which made me miss the 6th floor view. All in all I think this is a cozy and comfortable good go-to place to consider when I stay in Brooklyn. So if you're tired of the drab brown, yellow, and tan color schemes of other hotels at this price, choose Le Bleu for a modern change of scenery.

Nice place to stay in Brooklyn

Pros: Design Cleanliness Amenities- refrigerator, iron, rain shower Breakfast at my door Free parking
Cons: More parking spots (in Brooklyn- unrealistic, I know)
Location: about a mile from Downtown Brooklyn and Barclays Center lots of delis and bars along the way did not feel unsafe
After moving from NYC, it was good to be back in my favorite borough of Brooklyn. I was there for four days. Hotel Le Bleu was a nice find. It has a clean, contemporary design with amenities. The daily breakfast delivery to my door by a smiling employee was excellent. I did rent a car and free parking was available, but half of the time, the parking lot was full and I had to find a spot on the street. Overall, I enjoyed my stay there and would definitely return.

Save your money and skip this place

Worst hotel experience!  Unfriendly staff and inept manager, horrid customer service.  Website pictures are deceiving and not an accurate portrayal of what will be in room.   Carpet in room filthy and stained.  Shower curtain filthy and smells.  Bathroom has no privacy and you can see what the person is doing on the toilet from your bed.  Not worth the price.  Misleading advertising.  Oh and your choice in breakfast is a bagel, or a muffin, or a croissant with jelly or cream cheese yep that is it.  Not juice no fruit....nope...but they advertise free breakfast.

Great little hotel, can't beat the price!

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Quiet, excellent bar staff, walking distance to barkley center
Everything was great, and I travel quite often. The only negatives are limited parking and I have no idea why when my husband and I asked the front desk for dining recommendations, they failed to mention the restaurant and bar IN the hotel. We discovered the bar late at night and the staff there was nothing short of exceptional. We booked the room for the good price and the fact that it is within walking distance to the Barkley Center. The room was comfortable, clean and we loved the balcony. There are great views of Brooklyn and manhattan from the upstairs bar. If you stay here, definably have a meal or drink upstairs! It was the best part of great trip
