Spring Break Universal

This was the perfect place for a quick spring break trip to Universal with the family. There is a good bit of construction going on around the property so just be sure to pay attention coming and going. Other than that minor inconvenience it was perfect for the four of us. Adults had a room and bathroom to themselves and so did the kids. Convenient to have a full kitchen as well. The owner was easy to work with and communicate with before the stay. No need during but I’m sure we would have heard back quickly.

Great Unit and a convenient location

Unit was a very great rental. The only thing that we found lacking was that there is no garbage cans when we got there, however, the hotel staff took care of that right away! Break, conveniently located to universal theme, parks, and very close to numerous dining options. Would highly recommend this again.

Very nice hotel and it was right outside of Universal. Only thing we didn't like was not being able to lower a/c at night. It would not go below 68, but its fine for others. We just like it a little colder when we sleep.

Not what I expected

This wasn’t the same as any of my past Vrbo experiences. This was just a time share/ hotel type stay. The master bath toilet was clogged when we arrived and fixed the next morning by maintenance. Living room television was mounted to the back wall of the entertainment center and couldn’t be adjusted. It was leaning forward, angled to floor and I was worried it would fall down. The couch in the living area was hard plastic-leather material that was very old, cut up with tears. We covered it with a blanket to sit on. The second bedroom light globe on the ceiling fan was hanging side ways. I visit this area 5-6 times a year and will not be returning to this place. This was a first of about 25 experiences with Vrbo. All of my other stays were great!

Quiet Week @ Westgate

Overall, nice stay. Response to needing necessary items was fast. There was some work being done in the nighttime hours, loud cutting but it didn’t last long so we didn’t get too bothered. They were very nice and I knew that if I asked, they would have taken care of it. Gave me late check out and overall, nice place to stay with family. We chose outdoor walking and running instead of the gym since it was small and limited (very active family).
