Welcome to Remy’s Refuge!

Our 4-bedroom, 3-bath Orlando vacation rental house was designed for fun. Bring your friends, your family, and your friends’ families 
and bring your pets! We’re dog-friendly here and love welcoming your four-legged family members. Remy's Refuge offers all the comforts of a hotel plus perks like:

An open living space for hanging out together. A private, lake-view pool and spacious hot tub that’s all yours (no need to deal with someone else’s splashing kids)! A game room in the garage with a full-size pool table, as well as tables, stools, and an assortment of puzzles, board games, and toys. Two master suites, each with king-sized beds and their own attached baths. Two guest bedrooms that sleep 4 more.

And, of course, the insider expertise of two true Disney Fanatics
us! We are Amanda and Trevor, two Canadians who started dreaming of our own place in Orlando the first day we visited. (Our wish came true in 2014!)

OUR LOCATION

We know you’re wondering
and yes, our location is excellent! In fact, our neighborhood of Oak Island Cove is known for being one of the closest communities to Disney. The nearest park, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, is just 3.4 miles away. The furthest park is just 15 to 20 minutes away, depending on traffic.

So when the last firework pops against the night sky at the end of a long, enchanting day, you’re just a short drive from the comforts of home.

OUR POOL

When you get back, flip on the patio lights, and close out the day with one more treat: an evening swim or a relaxing soak in the 7-person hot tub. Our pool area is totally enclosed and private, and backs up against a small lake. Listen to the crickets and frogs and watch the moonlight glitter on the water. And laugh at the mosquitos, which can’t reach you through the screens!

You can also take a Disney-detox day and just hang out together at home. Tired of lounging by the pool? Set up a pool tournament in the game room. Or play a game of cornhole out by the lake! There are countless nearby attractions, too, from wineries to theatres to ghost tours to delicious restaurants.

OUR KITCHEN

Remy’s Refuge makes dining in and saving money seriously easy. Our kitchen is fully equipped with all large and small appliances, plus cabinets stocked with pots, pans, dishes, utensils...everything. Or mix it up and grill outside on the gas grill. We provide the propane free of charge.

We also offer vouchers for complimentary grocery delivery. Imagine arriving at the rental to a fridge full of your favorites!

You can always put the money you save toward one incredible meal at Victoria & Albert’s (an AAA Five Diamond recipient and Disney’s #1 restaurant).

OUR STYLE

Many Orlando vacation rental homes have “park-themed” bedrooms. We do, too
but we also have the benefit of Amanda’s interior design certification! So our bedrooms are playful AND stylish, and pay subtle tribute to some of the greats: Indiana Jones, Star Wars, Ratatouille, Muppets, Lego and Harry Potter.

I highly recommend this reasonably priced rental. The home is well kept with separate room and space for all. We enjoyed playing pool in the game room. The pool was amazing. I loved watching the animal life in the lake as we relaxed outside. Very close to Disney. The communication was excellent. Any questions that we had were replied to right away. Don’t skip this one.

AAU Basketball Tournament

Great stay! The layout of this house was really smart! It was so nice to have two master bedrooms on one side of the house with bathrooms. This was great for my husband and I and the our daughter in the other master. While my son and his friend had their own rooms on the other side of the house with a shared bathroom. We were in Orlando for a AAU Basketball tournament. House was close to World Wide ESPN and all Disney parks. The pool was so nice to come back to in between games and at night. Our family also loved the pool table. We played every night. The house was exactly as described. We will definitely return. Thanks for a great stay!

Our stay was such a pleasant one as we were there to visit our favorite parks to celebrate our wedding anniversary - and the parks were in close range. The pool and hot tub were such relaxing amenities for before and after our park visits to unwind our feet. Pet friendly makes it a much more enjoyable experience as we have 2 fur babies that were welcomed. Will absolutely stay here again in the future.

Perfect on every Count

This property was in the perfect location between all parks as well as dinning and Walmart. The kids room had a few bins of toys which was a pleasant surprise to our 5 year old. The pool and hot tub were at perfect temperatures and the view of the lake was spectacular. Would definitely make this property our yearly escape!

A Magical Month at Remy’s

We stayed here for a month over the holidays and had a fantastic time! The place was perfect and as advertised. The hosts and the property management were all helpful and responsive. We loved the quiet neighborhood, proximity to Disney, a comfortable bed and the great pool. We cooked many meals in the kitchen treating this as our own home. We also found time to explore several areas of Orlando potentially looking for a future house to purchase, and Remy’s was the perfect spot to come home to each evening. Thank you for making our time at Remy’s so great!

The house was exactly represented. The owners we're very nice as well. We've rented quite a few homes in the area and this was the cleanest and best cared for of them all. Nice touches in theming the various rooms. We didn't want to leave!

July getaway

We enjoyed our stay. The house had plenty of space for 3 adults and 2 teenagers. The description accurately portrayed the available amenities. We took advantage of cooking breakfast at the house and used the grill for a dinner as well. The pool and hot tub were great and the pool stayed cool even in the hot summer days. The drive to Disney was short and took no longer than 20 mins most days. Plenty of places to eat and grocery stores nearby. Great experience and would recommend a stay.

Disney and Universal Vacation - Orlando

We had a great stay at Remy’s refuge. The proximity to Disney and Universal was great, the kitchen allowed us to cook a few meals “at home” and save some money, and the house is really close to Walmart and lots of gift shops and restaurants. Our kids had a great time in the pool and also playing pool in the game room. Each room had it’s own T.V. which helped. The adults watched the Olympics and the kids got to play Nintendo switch in their room. Overall, a great stay and the owners were quick to respond to the couple of questions we had and very supportive.

Wonderful home that was a real blessing to our family.

Remy's Refuge was a terrific home to stay in. It was clean, spacious, and had classic Disney touches throughout. The pool was so fantastic and the hot tub as well. It had everything we needed to relax and have a wonderful time together. It is also very close to restaurants and shops and the Disney Parks. It is in a family neighborhood and the owners made the whole process seamless. If we come back to Orlando again, Remy's Refuge is at the top of our list. It was a tremendous blessing to our family!

Gem near WDW

Best stay we had near WDW. The pool and the view of the lake are such delightful treats especially after a day at the parks. Really hope we can stay here again. Convenient location to restaurants and shops. The short drive to the parks wasn’t bad at all. I was told there can be a lot of traffic to WDW but we didn’t experience that even with our stay there at the end of May. The owner, cleaners, pool and lawncare staff we spoke to are all so nice. Also, small touches meant so much to us such as WDW pin left for my son and all the games, supplies and coffee. Glad we had extra time to just relax at the house.
