It cannot get any Better than this Place. The room was spotless. The view was intense. The detail to the experience is twice over Disney. The Staff "Aida - went beyond what I have ever had in any hospitality environment" A+ - Lizzy & Gabby at 2am fulfilled my needs and beyond expectations. Payton took care of my family with security that was very appreciated. These 4 I would Hire/Recruit from universal in a heartbeat.

The staff at check in was thorough and friendly. Shuttle busses were timely and efficient. Location and amenities are nice at a reasonable price.

The staff was nice. Our check-in took longer than expected so the man that was assisting us gave us vouchers for a free meal in the cafeteria.

The hotel was a dump. Peeling paint on the walls, peeling upholstery on the beds, tiny room, not particularly clean. They clean the rooms every other day (wipe down), but you need to request this. Same with fresh towels, coffee, etc. they can be provided but only upon request. Staff is polite, but needed to check in several times for requests to be accommodated. The hallways are filled with piles of laundry in the evening until mid-morning from guests putting out the old towels since housekeeping does not come. The perk of early park opening was nice, but we will go to another universal location next time. Left a lot to be desired. Highly dissatisfied.

Our Family Suite was very dated and the Kitchenette had no cutlery, dishes, dish soap or dish towels.. The hotel, park passes and food was incredibly expensive and over priced. Everything was at a cost.. Not at all like an all inclusive resort..

Great amenities, view of volcano bay, food choices were great! Staff was accommodating and helpful! Room decor was on point and beds were comfortable! Will stay again. Complimentary transportation and early entry were wonderdul added bonuses!

This place was ok but it is showing it age. Half of the gates between the buildings and around the pool didn't work so they were propped open. The cafeteria style restaurant was ok but it would have been nice to have a sit down dinner option.
