The Penn's View is my favorite hotel in Philly. It's old school charm, with large (king) rooms, beamed ceilings and gas fire places. It's a nice change of place from the usual upscale chains. Service is personable and attentive. The rooms are immaculately clean and quiet. The Panorama Restaurant on the first floor is a wine bar and Italian restaurant with an extensive wine-by-the-glass selection. Friendly bartenders and first class waitstaff. Indulge yourself, you'll be happy you did.

Close to all of the old historic sites. Easy walking. Parking right next door. Parking is now $35 a night not $30. Staff was excellent. Room was very comfortable and clean. We will stay here again when going to Philly.

Loved the property and the front desk staff! The restaurant was lacking. Food took forever and it was a prefix menu so that never should have happened. Portions were terrible and we had two steaks ordered one was under and the other over cooked?? Salmon was fatty!! Great location for New Years fireworks but not worth the money for food. 288 for two!!!!yicks
