Front desk tried to charge me an extra $50 to check in early. When I laughed and turned to give the porter my baggage to hold for me, he said ok how about $40 just for you! I couldn’t believe this. You’re extorting me for money to check in early. I told him I would rather roam the streets like a hobo than pay him this ridiculous “fee”. On my reservation I requested a fan for my room. None arrived. I didn’t pursue it any further bc it was only a one night stay. Finally, one of the bar staff was extremely rude to customers. Hard to explain what exactly happened in this review but let’s say I have stayed at this hotel numerous times when I’ve come to Philly and I’ve never encountered this kind of “attitude” from their bar staff before.

The staff did their best to be friendly and accommodating from the valet parking to the restaurant to the checkout. We were very pleased with the services. Did not use the air conditioning but we did use the heat and found it to be perfect. Only slight drawback was when using a shower and opening the shower door water ran out and puddled near the toilet so there was a reverse slope it should slope the other way. Overall an excellent stay will definitely consider utilizing this facility for future adventures.

Room was clean and good. Bathroom was good. No problems. Fewer pillows than normal . But they fixed it quickly. Overall good stay. Please fix the breakfast buffett situation. It is far worse than the sofitel I used to remember from a decade ago.. If cost is an issue, please raise the cost as needed. Breakfast is terrible service and poor food. All else is super good.

Hotel is always so clean and welcoming. Thomas at the front desk was amazing during check in. The room was clean and spacious. The only hotel we stay at when in Philadelphia!
