Not up to Holiday Inn Standards

Room was clean when we arrived but we got no service on the room for the two days. I understand the policy on changing the beds, but we did not receive clean towels and the trash was not emptied. ( My wife did call on the second night and towels were sent to our room,) The breakfast was OK but not up to HI standards. The pancakes came out of the machine and they were hard to slice with the plastic knives. The use to be famous Holiday Inn cinnamon rolls were luke warm at best.

There were cob webs and spiders in the top corners of the room, the room smelt damp, and the A/C unit by the chair to the right of the room was making a horrible clicking noise most of the night to the point we had to turn the air off.

I had issues with the TV ( see pictures) and when I told staff they response was flippant with staff saying we get what we get referring to the TV channels. Staff were not helpful and I felt as an inconvenience.

Nobody behind the front desk when we got there to check in and had to wait about 20 minutes but other than that it was fine. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, and the free breakfast was great and had a lot of choices!
