"Our room was perfect 👌 The staff was helpful and gracious. Our Daughter &grandson enjoyed your daily multicultural style breakfast, While my husband and I chose to enjoy our own familiar breakfast in our room. Our g-son 6yr with odd will only eat pancakes, but they told us NO outside food allowed, plus the front desk told me I couldn't take any food from the breakfast room back to my room. There public use microwaves are on the 2nd floor. "very inconvenient" our hotel was located one short block from the beach which was very nice. Plenty of places to eat around our hotel also. There pool is not heated."

"Good value for location, view. Hotel itself is very functional, staff very friendly. The carpets and upholstery are a bit stained, bathrooms a bit smelly. A drawer was broken in our dresser. Though you get a balcony to yourself, they are not private. I loved the ocean front view, and leaving our door open to hear the sound of the ocean. The noise from Kalakaua is loud (party busses, street cleaning, motorcycles, etc). Loved that the beach was right there, and being close to Waikiki-adjacent restaurants on Kapahulu. Would stay again."

"Our room got the Mountain View. It was ok, but great privacy. The room was very clean. The bathroom was small, not enough space for hanging clothes and towels. The location was very close to the beach, shoppings, and restaurants. It was a bit noisy at some points in the early mornings for cars and people talking in the hallway. However, I loved the part being able to hear the rooster in the early morning. It wasn’t loud enough to wake you up, but you can hear it starting around 5am if you happen to be awake at that time. It brought me back to my childhood time, when I was still living on a farm. The breakfast was ok. It did its job & it was included. It saved me lots of time and headache from going hunting for breakfast for 5 every morning. I will definitely book again with Hyatt Place for our next vacation."
