it was a reasonable price. what i didnt like was someone came into our room 3 out of 6 time 4 no reason, we told the maid/ cleaning lady on our 1st day no one has to do anything to our room. The fire alarm kept chirping the 1st 3 day until i took battery out. No hair dryer etc. If you want just a bed and a/c its not bad.

Property was filthy smelled like urine Went to the front desk and told the desk clerk that the room smelled like urine , he apologized, Gave e he what he said was his last air freshener and told me that he puts them on the air conditioner so that it can get rid of the smell faster. I explained for the almost $500.00 I paid for the room I was expecting a room that was clean and wasn’t in the condition that condition. He stated that the price was set by Travelocity not by the hotel itself. I told him that was ridiculous because what was listed on Travelocity’s site is nothing close to what I walked into so that room is a misrepresentation. I told him that I would be reporting it. My husband and I had our twelve year old daughter with us and since we were in town for his parents 50th wedding anniversary celebration we could not just leave town , otherwise we would just have driven back to Orange County afterwards at midnight. Instead we purchased additional sheets and comforters because there was no way we were even sleeping on the ones in that room since we could not even trust the cleanliness, since as I stated earlier this room smelled like urine. We left early in the morning never even pulling the sheets back on the bed or the sofa bed. The health department should come in and inspect this hotel throughly because I’m sure there are several code violations.

Hotel Aqua Mar is a cute boutique hotel that has recently been remodeled. initial impressions were favorable however it was not very clean. no coffee pot in room And i could hear upstairs neighbors all night. walls were not clean, grime in corners and bottom of curtains. shower head needs cleaning. it was very conveniently located downtown. the front desk staff was very helpful and professional. i enjoyed interaction with them.
