It's a charming, well-maintained older California building. We stayed in a room overlooking the courtyard and enjoyed the quiet, the flowers and the serenity of the whole location. It's convenient for restaurants and shops, the Hop-on/Hop-off tour bus, and there's even a 24-hr Walgreens close by. We're very happy to have found a hotel in San Francisco we want to return to.

Feels like I am in a secluded delightful courtyard with beautiful wall plants. Jila at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful. Room relatively small, nice updated bathroom...kitchen dated but clean. Behind my room construction was going on ...and noisy.

One of my favorite places to stay in San Francisco. Cute, quaint, comfortable, historic. Has personality and charm! Flowers everywhere in the courtyard, free parking, rooms have great natural light, nice showers, everything perfect.
