No ice machines on hotel floors, guests needed to go to the lobby where there was a snack bar and get a bag out of a freezer (didn’t tell us this when checking in ). Room was fine but shower grout was not in good shape (mold), and heat in the room was extremely dry. Couldn’t adjust the thermometer to achieve a low fan, air blew on us at all times. Great location though, easy to walk to most everything.

The heater was out in our room, and from what they said, a part of the entire building. It was uncomfortably cold. The electric heaters they provided helped some, but not enough to be comfortable through the nights.

Since I was identified as “one of those”, the level of service and just the common courtesies disappeared completely. I was charged for a service I did not receive, and to have been given an adjustment was not in their vocabulary.
