While our stay wasn't bad, there were a few things that were less than ideal during our stay. There was an "off" smell in the room when we arrived and that persisted through our stay. One request made to the front desk attendant was not responded to one day to the next even though the clerk wrote things down. We waited, but no response. Our booking was for a family of four, but the room was only set up with towels for two. After the initial check in, during our multi-day stay, requests for some additional towels were met with less than helpful response by front desk staff - almost as if they didn't want to help us acquire more. Continental breakfast was a typical "American style" breakfast buffet (potatoes, eggs, sausages), however, our vegetarian diet didn't align well.

Small room Disappointed

Tiny room in poor condition. No plug ins by the bed for phone, had to pull fridge out to find plug for coffee machine, desk lamp non-functional. Only one of two key cards worked. The worst was feces (sh*t) on the shower curtain! Not acceptable. The included breakfast is limited - no fruit, juice, toast and jam, yogurt etc. Disappointed.

Everything was amazing - especially the persons behind the desk. I had an issue with my iphone and they didn't stop helping until it was fixed. One issue tho was the 5.00 Buffet Breakfast I had in the morning. I do not drink coffee or tea, never had a cup in my life. I was shocked to find no juice of no kind - I had to ask where it was, thinking I didn't see it. Server said juice does not come with the Buffet, but he did give me a juice box. Man oh Man Heritage Inn, U can do better!!! Now I don't normally complain, but the hashbrowns were pretty much hard & burnt, the pancakes were hard and rubbery, with only sugary syrup to put on - and I am diabetic. The bacon was great and the eggs, well I don't normally like that kind - out of the carton. So to say it bluntly, I was very dissapointed!! Prob the worst Continental Breakfast I have ever hard at a hotel. I was reading reviews a few days ago and so many were unhappy with the breakfast, if I would have known that there was no juice, fruit, yogurt, toast etc I would have just ordered a meal of choice. Not sure if I will be back if looking for a continental breakfast. At least U could haver a pitcher of juice set out. Please do better!!!!!!!!

The hotel itself and the rooms were all very clean, the staff very friendly and professional. My biggest complaint are the grounds. All the flower beds are full of weeds. This gives an unfavourable impression to people. If the outside is not kept up then perhaps the inside also is the same. They should spend the money on a groundskeeper to bring the outside up to snuff and this will really help with first impressions
