Modern Loft in the Heart of Seattle
Beautifully appointed contemporary loft is located inside one of the original Seattle buildings. It offers historic charm and modern conveniences. Hand selected furnishings, soothing colors and lush finishes create a relaxing atmosphere after a long day of exploring multiple attractions nearby. Stay in modern comfort while enjoying rich history of this 1908 building that is on the National Register of the Historic Places. Our property boasts 98 walk score, but public transit is nearby.
Parking garage entrance is 6'7" and parking space is 8ft x 15ft meant for up to midsize vehicles best.
Unit has city sky line exposure and positioned over alleyway between buildings. Occasional sound from passing cars/person may be heard. Since you are in the center of the city, police/service vehicles may be heard from anywhere. For your comfort, we provide a sound machine and ear plugs, but most guests do not find that it's noisy at all.
In our mild climate it is not common for buildings to have AC. However, for our guests' comfort we provide a portable AC from mid May to mid September. Even on a warm day, however, opening the windows and turning on floor fan will keep the property very comfortable.
All in all a nice stay for the price. The check-in process at the buildings entrance was a challenge. Once in, you have access to a key fob making getting in much easier. The loft presented itself nicely. Simple, yet cozy. Close to some restaurants and a bar but some unsavory characters linger around this area at night. If you are a light sleeper, the daily morning bottle pick up from the bar next door will certainly wake you. Lastly the pullout sofa is not the best. Cushions are worn out and the fitted sheet for the mattress was missing from the linen tote.
Overall the condo itself was a nice place to stay. We werenât there much because we were on the go for most of our trip. A few things to note.. the check in/out process was not extremely efficient. If we didnât have 2 people we wouldâve had to pay for parking just to go check in to get access to the parking garage. The building is surrounded by dirty alleys filled with garbage and homeless individuals. Trash trucks ran daily while we were there from anywhere between 3am and 6am and were extremely loud. Woke us up every time, not exactly a restful or relaxing vacation. The designated parking space in the parking garage is tiny, if you donât have a compact car you will not fit. Other than that, inside condo was quaint and cute and just what we needed during our stay.
This was a very comfortable loft apartment. Exactly as described. Perfect location! We walked everywhere Many great restaurants nearby and so many things to see and enjoy
Super walkable to lots of Seattleâs tourist attractions. Pike Place Market and the wheel are on the next block overlooking the water. Endless places to eat, drink, shop. WiFi was great for working. The bed and linens were comfy. Itâs was sufficient for a the two of us.
Great loft in an excellent location. The place had everything we needed and was very clean. Whole Foods is a short walk as well as Pike Place for any food needs. Bed and pull out couch were very comfy.
Excellent location. Very clean and the owners were always responsive. It can be slightly noisy but as a prime location in the city, thatâs to be expected. Would definitely stay again!
We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed our visit. The loft was basic but spacious w/a nice open floor plan. Smart TV in the living room & a Keurig machine were a nice touch, kitchen was adequate. The location is the big draw here, in addition to the huge windows on the main wall of the loft. It was very easy to walk to tourist areas like the market; in general itâs exactly where I like to stay when Iâm in the city and I loved the convenience of the location & the layout of the loft.I think it worth mentioning that in order to get into the garage if youâre bringing a car, you have to make entry into the loft first to get the fob. This required me to find a temporary place to park the car while my husband checked in and got the fob. If you have a car I would recommend hanging out in the alley behind the building just past the garage door but right before the paid lot, then the person fetching the fob can walk to the back of the paid lot and join you. This would be a bit of a pain as-is, but compounding the headache was that even after following the instructions for using the access panel on the front door to the building, husband had to try multiple times to gain entry to the building via the call box, and got some suspicious stares from residents trying to enter. He tried to call the listed number but didnât get through, luckily the next try got us in the building.Overall: nice loft in a great location. Noise didnât seem excessive to us.. itâs a big bustling city!
This apartment was very nice. we enjoyed seeing the city skyline from the back windows. It was located right in the heart of Seattle walking distance from Eliot Bay and Pike's Public Market and the space needle. We had a great time! We would definitely stay here again.
It was good to get off a cruise liner and enjoy the space and we were not disappointed. Laundry was heaven sent, fully functional kitchen, good size lounge room, clean bathroom, open bedroom with a walk-in robe. The local tourist adventures all within walking distance and seafood markets, groceries, gifts, entertainment and so on can easily be found. I definitely recommend this condo to anyone and will recommend to all our Australian friends and family, thanks.
We really enjoyed our stay in this Belltown apartment. Check-in instructions were very descriptive but I am glad I saw someone elseâs note about the garage. If using it, you will need to access the apartment first. As other renters mentioned, there is a lot of noise but itâs expected for downtown locations. The apartment was extremely clean and matched the description exactly. I appreciated the small touches throughout. We enjoyed the location of the apartment and walk ability (we donât mind hoofing itâŠ.). While there were a lot of homeless people around, we never felt unsafe. We did not need to contact the owners during our visit. I would stay here again happily.
We were in town for a show at the Moore and this was a perfect location. It was nice to park the car and know it was safe and secure. We could walk pretty much everywhere we needed to go. Pike place was a short walk which was nice. There were at a lot homeless around, but being from Vegas we werenât phased. I walked to the Moore and back myself yet night and didnât feel unsafe at all. There was a slight snafu checking in as we were given the wrong code for the call box, but that was resolved quickly. The place was clean and well appointed. There were no facial tissues however, which was a little odd. It was also hard to keep the temp stable. Upstairs would get really hot while downstairs was chilly. Maybe that was user error though. It is loud being downtown, so that should be expected. But, they provide earplugs and one night we used the fan which made some nice white noise.Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again and suggest it to anyone looking to stay like a local.
This loft was a great location in Belltown of downtown Seattle. It was very clean and comfortable. So nice to be able to walk everywhere from here, especially the pike place market which is where we spent a lot of time.
Wonderful location, really easy access to restaurants and bars, walking distance to tourist areas and shops. Would gladly stay again! Plus on-site parking. Place was clean and nice, and hosts were great.Only pieces of feedback - would be wonderful if the top blinds worked since it is the level with the bed. Also consider adding a little more detail that you need to fully check in and get a remote before you can park a car, it was a little confusing. Thanks!
The loft is very nice, clean and well maintained in a secure building. Great walking distance to many things and really good neighborhood bakery and restaurants. A short stroll to the Pike Market! As noted in the listing, it is noisy, mostly in the alley behind the loft with trash pick up numerous times of day and night, which might take getting used to for those who don't live in an urban area. Typical of lofts, it was a little hard to balance out the heat as we were there during a cold snap, but appreciated having a fan that helped blow the warm air downstairs. Beautiful building and nice, modern loft setting with a lovely patio off the second floor. Hosts were responsive and accommodating in allowing a late check out for us.
If you're trying to get to know the core of Seattle, this place was absolutely perfect. Conveniently close to everything and so charming! We had so much fun exploring town and we really enjoyed staying in and getting cozy too, we had a wonderful time here. I can't wait to go back someday!
