Convenient location

The room was very compact and having stayed at this hotel on arrival and departure from Sydney with several suitcases I have never had such a small room. Mr Cameron the front office manager was very helpful and accommodating in giving us a significant late check out. His attitude to my comments regarding the room will encourage me to return.

I recently stayed at Hotel Woolstore 1888 for one night, and it has now become my go-to accommodation in Sydney. The building beautifully honours its history, seamlessly blending original features with thoughtful design. Every staff member we interacted with was exceptionally considerate, consistently exceeding our expectations without us even needing to ask. I truly couldn’t fault a single aspect of our stay—it was such a standout experience that it’s inspired me to leave my first-ever review.

I had a great stay at Woolstore 1888 in Sydney. The hotel has a charming blend of historic character and modern comfort, making it a fantastic place to stay. The rooms were well-designed, clean, and cozy, providing a relaxing atmosphere after a long day of exploring the city. A special mention to Cameron at the check-in counter, who was extremely helpful and welcoming. His friendly attitude and efficiency made the check-in process smooth and pleasant. He provided great recommendations and ensured we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, Woolstore 1888 offers excellent service, a great location, and a unique ambiance. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sydney!

Paid for a king room but room was a queen bed. Got into the room late and went to shower and the shower head fell off. Reported both issues to staff in the morning and it was dismissed and we’re told we must have booked the wrong room and they would report it to the manager.

We had a great time. The Hotel is a 5 minute walk from Darling Harbour and close to Restaurants and public transport. The Hotel has a great charm about it and we couldnt have enjoyed our stay more.
