We found the room in the worst condition , the building/rooms have been completely neglected. Ripped carpet, baseboards in bathroom coming off the walls, stains on wall by sink, dust around beside table and headboard . Then to top it off we found a dead cockroach in the sink, within 10 minutes we found a live one in our pizza box and couldn’t eat it . We called to complain and changed rooms to find the conditions the same . You could hear air coming through the entry door so needless was no soundproofing to the outside . DO NOT STAY HERE , this hotel should be removed from Hotels.com! hotels.

The room was infested wih roaches, the refrigerator and stove top looked like they were picked up from the street. I booked the room for 7 days and was provided with 2 towels and wash cloths, and was told I'd have to pay a fee for additional towels. And while the unit had a kitchenette, it had no pots, pans, utensils, or dishes. There were no amenities, not even soap. They don't even offer ice at the hotel. I left the next day even though the strict cancellation policy. I will never book a hotel through expedia again. Nor will I ever step foot in the Extended Stay America Select Suites Tampa North Airport. Sleeping in my car would have been a better option (and the car I rented was no prize either). Booking my flight, hotel and rental car through expedia only saved me a little money (initially), but was a huge headache and cost me more money to fix. Finding a hotel last minute was no fun. I will never make the mistake of using expedia for such an important task again. I DO NOT RECOMMEND EXPEDIA NOR EXTENDED STAY AMERICA SELECT SUITES TAMPA NORTH AIRPORT.

I didn’t even stay in the room because I feared my safety. I am trying to get a refund but it’s impossible when booking through a third party. I was harassed by a homeless woman on drugs. She was following to my car calling me names so I jumped I , licked the door and left. Never went to the room that cost me $150. Do not stay here!!

The room smelled of cigarettes, I had to buy a candle and Clorox wipes to clean the room before using. The room definitely needs a remodel. Old cabinets and uneven floors

This had to be the absolute worst roach infested room I have ever stayed. This place is crawling with timy German cockroaches. They were in all the appliances, furniture, and walls. Our food wasn’t even safe in the fridge, and even would pop when you used the microwave. Health department needs to shut them down

When I was trying to check in the woman in charge was interrupted for 3 people and she stop my check in to take care of these people. I ask her if she can finish with me first and she kind to get an attitude. While check out at 9:30am I walked to the lobby to return the keys. lobby closed and phone number little piece of paper with a phone number. I called and another woman told me that I must leave the keys inside the room....I told her no because I won't walk all the way back to building2...nobody tell me that I have to leave the keys inside the room. She was very nasty, so I told her I am leaving the keys in the door and leave. I will never come back to this place.

It was really terrible experience! Room had no soap, no shampoo, no glasses, no spoon or fork, no napkins, no tea bag, nothing...I had to go to lobby to get soap. There I learned that we were lucky ones - we had toilet paper in the room - in lobby I met woman who was trying to get it. Fridge - it was leaking with very loud falling water droplets. Then it switched to regime of starting space rocket (same level of sounds) - then after 15 minutes it stopped temporary and after 45 minutres started to be loud again and then the process was repeated every hour. Financial dishonesty - hotel took safety deposit $101.99, and after two days returned only $100.00. Hotel is located in 3 buildings. No signs which rooms are where. You with all bags go by steps to 2nd floor to learn, that room is on other side of the building and you need to go down, put bags back into car, drive other side, take bags again and do up again. TERRIBLE!

The front desk employee was sick and not wearing a mask. She stated that she has allergies. I can understand in this bad economy people can’t take a day off. But turned out that few of the guests who were checked in by her started having cold and flu symptoms Those guests can’t take a flight back nor can afford to extend their stay. The front desk is a small room with no/poor ventilation. That is a real health hazard.

Everything, it tool an hour+ to checkin, first room smelled like straight smoke, second room key didn't work 3rd room I stayed in was disgusting, everything was broken up, meth pipe left in the room, roaches throughout. Toilet barely worked, It took 40 mins to wait for the onne staff member to come to the desk to check me outNever again.

The room had roaches crawling everywhere. There are guests that seem to live there, loitering the property, smoking and drinking in small grouos in the parking areas. Guests look like shady homeless, vagrant types.
