Paradise Waterfront Resort! PoolSpa with swim-up bar, Dock, Kayaks, Pets Welcome

Welcome to your new Vacation Getaway! For short and long-term stays. Our lovely home is directly waterside to the canals in Apollo Beach. You have access to kayaks, and while you aren't paddling about in the waters or watching dolphins from your backyard, you can relax in your living room with the whole family.

This home sleeps 14 and is adjacent to another of our vacation homes, which also sleeps 14. Ask us about available dates for both houses for large groups!

Enjoy the swimming pool, spa, and grill in our backyard. The pool has a waterfall, swim-up bar, and shallow kids' area with fountains. The spa is heated and complimentary with a Newly installed local control panel for your usage! The pool can be heated for a fee.

Play the piano we keep in the front hallway! If you have a boat, you’re welcome to dock it in the canal in our backyard.

You have access to the entire home including the dock: A beautiful kitchen with a Keurig coffee maker, bathrooms, four bedrooms and a living room area. Our space is designed to give you the most relaxing vacation possible as you explore Florida. We provide everything you could possibly need, and we are conveniently located near Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Busch Family Amusement Park and only 70 min from Disney Orlando.

The house comfortably accommodates 14 people. A travel crib/playpen is also provided! There are large, flat-screen, smart TVs in the living room and master bedroom.

Apollo Beach is also home to a recreation center open to the public, with parks, a golf course (you must purchase a pass to use), and more. The nearest beach, the Apollo Beach Preserve, is 5 minutes away by car.

As per Hillsborough county ordinance, there is a minimum of seven days that must be booked per stay.

Apollo Beach

The check in process was super easy. Pool was nice, nice big open kitchen/living room. Our complaints were we found multiple roaches in the house and garage(after 4 days of being there). It was easy to see that the sheets on multiple beds were NOT wash prior to our arrival. We had multiple house guest get bit from something in the beds the first night there. When I tried to contact the host, I was never able to get ahold of anyone. Yes we did complete our trip cause we had NO where else to go. But we washed bedding and sprayed the roach killer they had in the house. The area was super quiet but it’s obvious the neighbors do NOT want guest in the neighborhood.

Great Pool and House

The pool was excellent! The pool deck was large for all to enjoy. The only downside of our stay was the neighbor across the canal that clearly did not want anyone enjoying the outdoors.

Nice but Not As Nice

After we got in, I received a message that we have to document everything wrong and turn it in right away or we would be held responsible for damages. It took us over 2 hours to do this due to all the dents, scratches etc on the furniture and appliances. Next, we paid extra to have pool heated, the heat was not turned on until we arrived and I got a notice saying it would take 24 hours to heat up! Why didn’t they turn it on the day before we arrived and shut it off the day before we left. Same amount of electricity used but we would have gotten the full benefit of what we paid for. The showers were so dirty I went to the store and bought Lysol cleaner to clean and disinfect them. On Thursday, we got a surprise visit from a Mold Inspector. I called the house manager who apologized for the interruption and said she would have gave us a heads up but the inspector never got back with her with a date and time. Several minutes later someone associated with the house came to talk to the inspector at the request of the house manager. Only problem, he knew the inspector was coming that day but was told 4:30 and the inspector showed up a few minutes after 4:00. So the manager DID know they were coming and simply forgot to tell us. I am thankful we happened to be there, otherwise strangers would have been in the house with all our personal belongings. Last, it is NOT a hot tub! They told us they heated the pool to 80, well the tub was only a few degrees warmer than that.

Relaxing paradise

First off the owners of the property were super accommodating. They even brought us a delicious fresh avocado from their tree. The home was beautiful. The pool and outdoor space was incredible! We spent most of our week in the pool. Sadly we did not see any dolphins 😞 The available kayaks were a nice touch! You don’t get that little extra at most places.

Needs some attention

We came here with some close friends for a week of vacation. There are pros and cons to this property. Pros: Plenty of beds for a large group Close to shopping Within an hour drive of some really nice beaches. We visited Siesta Key and it was awesome. The water was beautiful. Within 30-40 minutes of Busch Gardens and downtown Tampa. The pool was awesome Communication with the property owner was nice when we couldn’t get the hot tub to work. They are very responsive to questions. Cons: The house wasn’t very clean with crumbs that were found in one of the beds, dirty bathroom mats. Not enough towels for large groups and we ended up buying towels for our stay. Not enough toilet paper, paper towels available for a week and we had to purchase more. We also ran out of garbage bags. The furniture seemed dingy- would recommend something other than fabric so it could be wiped down. The pool needs to be cleaned. There were things floating in it and sand and debris at the bottom as well as kids toys. The pool guy came once while we were there but it really needs a good filter to clear all the debris floating in it. Please be aware of the bugs outdoors. We had numerous bites that have been terrible. Definitely recommend bug spray. This property could be a lot nicer with a very thorough cleaning, including the pool, furniture , and more supplies like towels, paper towels and toilet paper. The walls also have scuffs everywhere. Would I stay here again? No.

Beautiful views and amazing people- dolphins and manatees visited!!!

Stayed here for a month and it was beautiful. The outdoor area was wonderful. Outdoor Furniture further from the slider is in really poor shape and not really usable, so we only used the one table just at the slider. Needed some more attention to cleaning the pool deck and doing something with the kids stuff for the pool as it was just in a dirty heap at the foot of the stairs outside Overall our month long stay was wonderful and I would recommend this home highly. The people in the neighborhood were amazing. Felt like home

Quiet neighborhood, great pool

This home has a fantastic salt water pool and pool area. Perfect for spending the day in the water with the family. The host was very good at communicating and prompt. The neighborhood was very quiet. The neighbors, unfortunately, did not tolerate any noise day or night. So if the kids were outside in the pool during the day, they made it very clear they did not like the noise of kids playing (mainly the guy across the canal). He was actually quite rude, mimicking our kids! This was a huge downfall of our stay. The cleanliness of the bathroom was not that great..there was black mold in the bathtub. We would recommend bringing your own pillows because the ones that were provided were very hard and

Wow!

This was seriously one of the best Thanksgivings we have had as a family and this home was the perfect place to house us all! From the pool (pay to heat it! Its worth it!), to the beautiful canal with dolphins and sealife almost everytime we sat out there, it was incredible. 5 stars!

Best property owner

We have stayed at many VRBO rental houses but this owner went above and beyond to make us happy. We had the privilege of staying at three of this owners rental homes during our stay at Apollo Beach. Each home was a beautiful propery, in a great location, and included a fantastic owner experience. The owner never stopped doing what they could to help us make the best of our time in Apollo Beach. When we come back to this area, we will stay in this owners properties. Thanks for all you did for us.

Beautiful property

We truly enjoyed this gorgeous property. The pool is phenomenal and the view of the waterway spectacular. The communication with the owner/manager was excellent. The only negative is neighborhood rules seem to be a little strict for us. Though we didn’t have issues at all with anyone calling, we kept having to remind ourselves to be really quiet after 9 and before 8. ;) Still a beautiful property a lovely vacation. We absolutely would recommend.

Pool and hot tub were awesome

The pool and hot tub area was by far the highlight of this property! The house was clean and a nice size for 10 of us including seating at the dining room table/kitchen bar, the living room with sofas and the back patio with plenty of chairs. My few complaints would be there were not enough bath towels or beach towels for 10 of us which you had to pay for laundry (washing and drying) and then the amount of dishes were also lacking for a group of 10. If the house can fit up to 12 guests, you would think there would be enough 'supplies' for everyone. Lastly, the owner was quick to respond to all of my questions which I thought was great!
