Enjoyed the complimentary self serve wine dispenser and the 1 hr short wine tasting tour. Our guide was excellent. Our food at the Tabern was also excellent! I had the summer salad and crab cakes with pearled couscous. And cannolis for dessert. All staff was very friendly everywhere we went.

The hotel is located within a vineyard with beautiful scenery. However, the hotel facilities are too old. We couldn’t sleep all night because of the big noises from footsteps, talking, and running water from the room upstairs from 1:00AM to 4:00AM.

It’s nice if you want something a little different

Very nice stuff, but it is an old-fashioned guest house that looks a little tired with old Services. For example, the ceiling in my room had pieces of plaster falling down and signs of flooding and the TV didn’t work. But nice grounds and the staff are very friendly.

Loved how peaceful the property was. Loved the cozyness of the hotel and the old charm. We brought our pups and the grounds were well maintained and perfect to walk the pups around. We were able to stroll over to the winery for a free tasting. Breakfast was decent and the staff was very friendly. It was just what we were looking for for our short weekend getaway!

I saw this property reviewed as “quirky” and I would propose a more appropriate description to be that this property is full of character, well loved and thoughtfully appointed, completely unlike most other properties, and comfortable. We would stay here again for sure.
