PLEASE NOTE: This apartment is directly above Mash Bar. Mash bar is open Wednesday - Saturday from 6pm -1am. There is usually LIVE music playing and the sounds transfers considerably. Some guests have reported the floor shaking from the music below. Please keep this in mind if you are a light sleeper or hoping to go to bed at an early time on any of these weekdays. If that is the case, this is not the space for you!
The room was clean and beautifully decorated! The bed was so comfortable. The coffee from local coffee shop was delicious and definitely a bonus! We stopped in to take some home with us because we loved it so much. The restaurant downstairs was amazing! The only complaint was the noise from the live band. We used the ear plugs provided, the noise machine and our fan but still very noisy. We have stayed before at a different apartment and the noise didnât bother us but the band seemed to be right under the bed in this one. Overall, we would stay again :)
My partner and I had a lovely time overall! Location was great and not far at all from downtown Ypsilanti. We loved how convenient it was to walk to the restaurant downstairs our room for dinner and brunch. Only complaint was how loud the band was at the bar underneath us for Friday and Saturday which played from 8 PM to midnight. I donât think I wouldâve booked this room had I known that it was loud. Quite literally the floor underneath us was shaking because of how loud it was. I didnât know that there was horrible noise transfer until days before my reservation check in. The hosts did leave out earplugs to help with the noise. I would suggest the hosts to add a disclaimer to the listing that this is a noisy room on the weekends.
The location is in a prime spot with so many eateries around in walking distance. Parking is a breeze as well. The location interior is beautiful and you'll feel right at home being here.
Micah was a great host. He was quick to reply to questions and gave easy to follow check in instructions. The location was perfect with a lot to do in walking distance from the condo.
Our favorite place to stay in Ypsi! This is our second stay and we remain big fans! Surrounded by restaurants and interesting little shops. We never feel the need to venture into Ann Arbor
