Small families or a couple or two will love this welcoming cottage just north of downtown Anacortes. It comes complete with a vibrant yard packed with flowers and a rustic fireplace.

What's nearby:
Central Anacortes is half a mile south with all its shops, cafés, and restaurants. The home is even closer to the Anacortes W.T. Preston Museum, which provides a chance to explore a decommissioned steamboat. More seaworthy vessels and fresh ocean air await at Rotary Park - both are blocks from the cottage. Also within walking distance is Kiwanis Waterfront Park, which features a sandy beach, oceanfront picnic tables, and access to more beaches via the Guemes Island Ferry.

Great restful property

Great property, close to downtown. Only recommendation is to align the checkout chores found in the house with those Vacasa sends. We consolidated and did them all.

Super Location

This was our second stay at Cozy/Cultural Cottage and although the location is still super and we enjoyed visiting Anacortes, we were just a little disappointed that the main source of heat in the living spaces was not operational. The owner did suppy some space heaters but it just wasn’t the same.Overall, it is a lovely place in a great location
but it could use a little maintenance.space heaters.

Great location and comfy cottage

Location is only a couple of blocks from Commercial St. and all the shops and restaurants. Stayed over the weekend so got to experience the great farmer's market that is only a block away. Cottage was comfortable and we enjoyed the outdoor space as well.

A very deep cleaning of the bedroom window sills..had lots of mouse droppings and mouse hair..a health hazard. The toilet tank and bowl barely got cleaned. The counters and fridge were sticky and someone sprayed an entire can of air freshener to cover up what smell like smoke. Also the living room sofa is so bad..you sink down 6 inches..which gave us back aches. We sat on the dining chairs or the floor. The sofa cushions had lots of hair and crumbs..not cleaned. It appeared to us that the maid only does a minimal cleaning. This place needs a deep cleaning...including behind the washer and under the fridge. We spent our first two hours disinfecting counters, toilet, sinks, doorknobs..all were sticky. We left the house better than will found it.!

Adorable cottage walkable to downtown Anacortes

This cottage is completely remodeled and very clean, comfortable, cozy, and private. The walkability to downtown Anacortes shops is definitely a bonus too!

Anacortes Cottage

This was a great place to stay in Anacortes - close in to all the activities, very neat and clean, quiet, and loved the flower garden and outdoor seating space. My friend and I had been camping so it was really nice to take a hot shower and enjoy the comforts of home again.

Nice place to stay

Enjoyed the property, clean, kitchen is well appointed, appliances are all new. The location is walking distance to dining and shopping which is such a plus! Only downsides are the furniture is very uncomfortable (sofa was strange) and the deal breaker could be the lack of decent wifi. It was on an extender (probably with the adjacent property so it doesn't hold a connection most of the time). This made work nearly impossible. Also no tv there, which might bother some people, especially if there isn't a strong wifi connection for streaming.

We needed to extend our stay, they were a great help, and very accomodating. Really nice place, clean, very walkable to everything. A couple of blocks off the main drag on a quiet street. Everything you need in kitchen, and also nice to have washer and dryer. Beautiful flowers! I would highly recommend staying here

So many good features

Finding the property was very easy. Lovely location. the house was loaded with everything we could need to thrive. But, the patio, made sitting in the sunshine and relaxing so pleasant. Wonderful property with a fab location

My husband and two young children stayed here for almost a week. We loved the location and the layout of the cottage itself. They had everything you would need and even provided small convenient items like soap and shampoo (lots of rental homes do not provide these things). It was the service of a hotel with the privacy and comfort of a home. We would definitely stay here again! P.S. Bring your hair dryer! :-)

Great property, clean, kitchen equipped, washer n dryer, peaceful lovely yard, nice finishes.

Loved this property! There were a couple things which were our personal opionions that could be better. We arrived late at night and couldn't see how to get into gate and thought house in front which doesnt look lived in was the property and we got scammed, resulting in us getting lucky in finding a hotel with a room available on oyster run weekend. We returned the next day in the light and realized the acual property was behind the little house and could see the latch on gate to get thru. Also no TV which can be a good thing or not so good thing. Overall super happy and would recommend!

A special place

This quiet, clean, and stylish cottage is just two short blocks from the shops and restaurants of historic Anacortes. The gardens were spectacular, and all rooms were well appointed and comfortable. We'd stay there again if we returned to the area.
