Experience a truly enchanting retreat at the "Cockatoo" Yurt nestled within the picturesque River Yurt Village along the serene Medina River in Bandera, Texas. This intimate 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom Yurt is meticulously designed for relaxation, accommodating 2 guests comfortably.

As you step inside, you are greeted by the cozy charm of the Yurt. This luxury Yurt is the perfect escape for couples looking for a romantic getaway! It has an open concept and features high ceilings showcasing the beautiful wood and natural light from the Yurt design.

The open concept features a luxurious Queen size Bed, promising restful nights of sleep, sound machine and plenty of storage. Rainy nights in a Yurt are unlike any other! All linens and pillows are provided.

The Bathroom features a Shower and Toilet (all Towels and Rags provided) and a separate Sink area.

Sit back and enjoy your favorite shows on the TV (Streaming only, no Cable) from the comfortable Double Recliner!!

The well-equipped kitchenette allows you to prepare delicious meals during your stay. The "Galanz" Retro Refrigerator/Freezer along with the "Nostalgia" Retro Microwave and Toaster boasts a fun look to the Kitchen giving it a unique but functional setting! It is also equipped with everything needed to prepare a delicious meal from the outdoor Argentine Gaucho Grill while gathering together including a Toaster Oven, Double Skillet Portable Cooktop, Keurig coffee maker, utensils, cups, wine glasses, plates, pots/pans (for Portable Cooktop), etc. We also provide a starter amount of Keurig coffee pods, sweeteners and creamers for you to enjoy.

Step outside under the large Palapa covered porch where you'll find a delightful outdoor area designed for relaxation and entertainment. For the ultimate indulgence, immerse yourself in the soothing warmth of the beautiful Cedar Hot Tub. Unwind and let your cares melt away as you soak in the rejuvenating waters, surrounded by the beauty of nature while being nestled in the trees.

Grab a cup of coffee in the morning and listen to the birds chirp while relaxing in the cozy Wicker Hanging Swings or laid back in the Adirondack Bar Stools. The String Lights around the patio provide a peaceful atmosphere in the evenings to wind down in the Hot Tub or just taking in the scenery.

RIVER ACCESS
NOTE: The Yurts are not actually located on the River but only a short walk away on the same property. All guests will have direct access to the crystal-clear Medina River at the furthest end of the Yurts which is walking distance from all Yurts. The beautiful waters boast plenty of opportunities for swimming, kayaking, fishing and wildlife viewing! Kids and Adults alike will enjoy the steps that lead you directly into the Medina River Swimmin' Hole amongst all the stunning Cypress trees! Pull up a chair under the shade and relax as the sounds of nature ease your mind and spirit.
NOTE: The River water levels vary depending on rain/drought.

CHECK IN:
72 Hours prior to arrival the check in information will be sent with detailed information about the property, access, etc.
Guests will have a large private driveway with plenty of parking at each individual Yurt. We provide as much information as possible before arrival so check-in and check-out is a breeze.

PETS:
Dogs under 35 pounds are welcome at the property but must be on a leash when outside due to other guests on property. The pet fee is $50 per pet (max 2). Please note that we will contact you after booking to collect for the fee if not already paid for at the time of booking via the Listing Site. Barking dogs are not permitted.

NEIGHBORS/GUESTS:
While offering a wonderful experience, the property does have nearby guests that may/may not be on-site during your stay. We believe in being transparent about our surroundings to manage expectations. Occasionally, you may hear or see other guests as they are also enjoying their stay on property as well. But please note that while our property is not necessarily completely secluded from other Yurts/guests, we strive to maintain a peaceful environment, however it may not always be completely quiet. We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to embrace the vibrant community that surrounds all that this beautiful property has to offer.

RULES:
-There is NO SMOKING inside the Yurt ($250 Fee if evidence of smoking is found) Smoking outside is ok.
-Must be 25 or older to book and must be present during the duration of the stay
-Children Allowed (Adult Supervision Required - Hot Tub and River Access on property - No Life Guard on Duty - Swim at your Own Risk - Not Responsible for Accidents)
-No discharging of firearms, open flames/fires (other than BBQ Pit provided), fireworks or ATVs allowed on property
-Please bring own charcoal and lighter fluid for the BBQ Grill
