The room was not clean. There were bugs in the bathroom. When I went to take a shower the morning after I checked in I found a heavy coating of black hair in the shower - my hair is white. The amenities were incredibly sparse - one bar of soap in the bathroom and canisters of soap and shampoo - no lotion, q tips, or makeup mirror. Not welcoming to women travelers. I will say when I complained at the front desk the morning after we checked in, the bathroom was thoroughly cleaned after that but I could not get the sight of that black hair in the shower out of my mind. Not the quality of room or amenities i expect from Marriott. I will not be returning.

The Brookline area is very nice. The hotel staff was great. The room was nice and comfortable but had a TV remote that needed to be replaced, a broken toilet paper holder and a shower curtain rod mounted too high which did not keep water off the bathroom floor. The Bistro was also nice.

I had a terrific stay, but wanted to give some feedback. The TV didn’t seem connected. I got the floating LG No Connection icon and couldn’t figure it out. If there are special instructions for using the TV it would be nice to have them. Also, the climate control thermostat was challenging to figure out and instead of fussing with it I just ordered another blanket. Again, it would be nice to have directions just in case.

Great experience! Convenient location, clean room, friendly staff. Good dining options available. Onsite parking is a plus - I was allowed to keep my car in the garage until 4:00 p.m. after checking out, giving me extra time to explore some of the sights of Boston without worrying about finding a parking spot.
