The Mountain Lodge is a fully remodeled 5-bedroom, 3-bath, 3,300 sq ft retreat on 2 private, pet-friendly acres near Mt. Hood's ski resorts. Soaring 18-foot wood ceilings, two wood-burning fireplaces, and walls of natural light set the tone the moment you walk in.

Five bedrooms plus a sofa bed in the upstairs living room sleep 16. The Primary Suite has a king bed, dual-sink ensuite, walk-in shower, and private deck access to the hot tub. The Tree Room has 2 Twin XLs (combine to a King). The Green Room has a queen bed. The Bunk Room sleeps 7 across 2 queens and 3 twin bunks. The Kids Cave has a twin bed and a secret hideaway play nook. Three full bathrooms.

The gourmet kitchen has new black stainless appliances including a 5-burner convection oven, dishwasher, and a dual coffee maker, all fully stocked. The living room centers on a 16-foot slate fireplace and a 65-inch Roku TV; the Game Room has shuffleboard that converts to a mini bowling alley and a poker/bumper pool table by its own fireplace; the Theater Room has a 75-inch Roku TV with surround sound and a snack bar.

Outside, an indoor sports court is set up for pickleball, badminton, or volleyball, rain or shine, plus a private hot tub, fire pit, and 2 wooded acres for the dog to run. EV charging station and free parking on the circle driveway.

WHO THIS HOME IS BEST FOR
Big family reunions, ski and snow trips 15-20 minutes from Skibowl and Timberline, groups who don't want a weather-dependent trip, and pet owners.

We had a fantastic time together here, cooking in the well-stocked kitchen, hiking at the Old Salmon creek trail and we all discovered that we love to play Pickleball, what a fun new sport to learn! Location very close to Mount Hood Village and the snow parks; really well equipped kitchen, roomy dining room, great living room, game room, master bedroom. Lots of options. Could use new shower heads but overall had a great time. Thank you to the hosts for making this Christmas really wonderful.

We left the house about 4 times to hike ,fish and to go out for dinner.The house had so much to do you really did need to go know where.we loved it so much.

Excellent stay at an excellent location

The space was perfect for myself and my group of 7 friends as well as their three children ranging from 1-11. The pickleball court was great fun (though be warned there are a few dead spots) and we loved the convenient distance to several hikes and other attractions up by Mt. Hood.

Well appointed home in a lovely wooded setting. Close to outdoor activities at Mt. hood and the pickle ball/volleyball court provided hours of entertainment for the teens. Kelly was a great host and very responsive. Would definitely stay again!

Good weekend stay

The house worked just fine for us. It wasn’t our best experience, nor our worst. There is plenty of room to spread out and they had all the things you’d expect in a vacation rental. The kids really liked the playing with the toys there.

Awesome Mountain House

Very spacious with rooms for all our family member's needs. Well stocked kitchen for our big group. Very comfy beds and nice linens. Everyone LOVED the pickleball court, spent a lot of time there. Family room shuffleboard, big TV and snacks a big hit! Close to Mt. Hood activities. Owner very accommodating, family says lets go back next year!

We had a great stay. This is a great property with loads of great amenities! Everything was clean and in good working condition. The young adults in our group enjoyed the pickleball court and the poker table. We also enjoyed the hot tub and gas fire ring. Loved the coffee bar. The kitchen was an awesome space to prepare meals in and there was plenty of seating around the big dining table. Bedrooms/bathrooms were nice. Also enjoyed the “movie room” and snack station. Great family vacation!

We had a great time staying at this property! The pickleball court provided HOURS of entertainment! The weather was not real conducive to going to the mountain to play in the snow as the rain/mist made the snow icy & treacherous but the house was great, the kids loved the downstairs, the owners are really wonderful and prompt to take care of any issue, they provide snacks and other treats within the house and even left the Christmas decorations up! The large dining table was excellent for our meals and oodles of game playing!!!

Great House for the Whole Family

Great house. Nicely appointed with everything you might need. We had a group of 9 and there is plenty of space (inside and outside) to hang out. The pickle ball court was a nice and got a lot of use. Kelly was very responsive to any questions. Highly recommend it.

Excellent Family Getaway!!

Our family chose this amazing home to spend 8 days together! Location is amazing! The space in the home was great. We had 10 adults and 2 young ones with us and our furry family members. There was enough space for everyone and something to do everyday! The cabin was very clean and well stocked. Lots of games and lovely details to make our visit special. The host was wonderful to communicate with and answered any questions we had right away. I highly recommend a stay here at the mountain house!!

Our Family Vacation

We were able to spend 4 wonderful nights at this wonderful cabin getaway. The house is set up nicely and accommodated everyone nicely. It has plenty of space to gather with everyone and yet quiet enough to sneak off in your own little corner and enjoy a little quiet time by the fire. The yard was full of snow and the little kids loved shoveling, sledding, sweeping and stomping around in it. The court was a fun space to get out of the rain and run around and make wonderful memories with our grandchildren.

Nice extended fall weekend

Pristine, well-kept property. Well-supplied kitchen (of course, BYO food & drink). Kids loved the pickleball court. Two fireplaces for cozy ambiance, two large TVs for movie viewing. We had 8 adults and three kids plus two dogs. Plenty of room for everyone. Mysterious Cold War era satellite dish behind the house. Great for playing spy in the woods.
